Lovely letterbox but slight issue
The letterbox itself is very nice exactly was pictured the only issue is the screws provided for fixing the letterbox to the wall are low quality and not fit for purpose. I had to get better ones to install it properly. Other than that installation was simple enough.

Sides are open not weather proof
Poorly fitted pull down cover is just bent metal with no side protection against weather. Letter box cover lifts up with the smallest bit of wing allowing rain the get in. Not a good product. Do not buy

Let water in from side, not sturdy very flimsy
The media could not be loaded. Â easy to install, but a cardboard box is as about as water proof and secure as this

Big gap on both sides of the doors, nowhere near waterproof!
As others has mentioned the post box has big gap between the door and the body.The door doesn't go flush against the body defeating the purpose of a post box in Irish/UK weather.

Disappointed!!
Arrived quickly and was eager to install. Looked easy enough to install, but on closer inspection was surprised to see the flip down front had a gap both sides. Description said weatherproof but if it rains your mail is going to be sitting in a big puddle, bit impractical! Sending back

Flimsy
Look food on the wall. However metal is too flimsy, can be opened without key by applying downward pressure on the door.
