Acrimet3 x 5 Card File Holder Organizer Box Metal Base Heavy Duty (AZ Index Cards and Divider Included) (Purple Color with Clear Crystal Plastic Lid Cover)

This is a complaint about my desk accessories. I like that it's metal so I know it will last.

Great 3x5 card box. The lid is designed such that the paper cards are not smashed at the corners when the lid is closed. The base is metal, sturdy, well built and comes in a variety of colors. The lid is clear plastic and should last a long time with proper care. It came with white alphabet paper tab dividers that are a bit flimsy. I use sturdy plastic alphabet dividers instead. It does come with one plastic divider that fits into the groves on the top and in the bottom. My only real issue with this item is that the plastic tab fits through holes in the bottom and if you hold the card file a certain way or set it in an uneven surface, the plastic divide can get displaced causing the cards to slant further back than intended. Not that big a deal but a slight annoyance. If this item is sitting on a flat surface that issue won't happen.

I like the metal card holder and the stay open plastic top. It is far better than the plastic recipe holder that finally broke. The only downside is that the cardboard divider doesn’t stay in place. Annoying but for me not a reason to return it.

Pretty much like it, but it could use one or two more metal dividers. Problem is if you don't have the box pack full of cards, with blank cards behind the filled out cards, they just lay flat in the back. That extra divider would help a bit.

Needed a 3x5 card file with capacity for 500 cards. This is the only one I found, but it's much wider & taller than I wanted. We're keeping it, but wish there was something with a smaller footprint & same capacity.

It pretty much covers all I needed to store a bunch of 3 by 5 cards. Also includes A thru Z index cards and has a movable metal back to keep cards in place. Love the purple color.

While I haven't been able to really get the benefits out of this yet, but has worked for me so far. Thank you!

I think they should have used a different type of plastic for the lid because I feel I have to be careful to avoid cracking it being the plastic is the sturdy/solid type and not flexible.

I would have liked some more metal dividers to place at intervals to keep the cards from sliding and falling over. I would gladly have paid extra for those dividers. No one else provides dividers either, in fairness to this manufacturer. I would have liked category cards that you can label: for example auto. insurance, medical, recipes, etc. Again, no one makes this type of cardholder. Perhaps this will alert manufacturers to consider this type of cardholder. I must say again how well made, sturdy, and good-looking this cardholder is.
