Good strings but...
I have an old 12 string jumbo which our USA friends would probably call "beater". It lives in my house and I pick it up and play it from time to time. So not one of your top guitars like a Martin or a Gibson etc. though it does have a solid top and it's properly set up. So I at last treated it to a new set of strings. Saw the Adagio Pro set on Amazon. Really cheap so nothing to lose fitting them to the old thing. When fitting them I noticed the solid octave strings seemed to be a wee bit "softer" than my usual brands (usually Martin or D'Darrio). Just an observation really but where other strings are "springy", these ones are more like a piece of wire that will adopt the shape you bend them to. This might be better might be worse. I don't know.Bad thing: the octave G string didn't make it on to the guitar. I noticed a wee kink in the string. When I tried to straighten it the string broke. Rather too easily I thought. Fitted a D'Darrio .008 instead and tuned the guitar. This is the reason I knocked off 1 star otherwise easily 5!The strings stayed in tune with only a very minimum settling time. I like the bright jangly sound I get from them. Only on the second day so I'll see how they last. Luckily I always keep a few .008 strings for the octave G as they are prone to breaking. Sounds like it was a good plan!

Bright and jangly , long lasting and stay in tune from the get go
I've been playing guitars for a very long time now and I reckon I've tried pretty much every well-known make of strings over the last half a century or so .Like a lot of people ive got a 12 string that doesn't get played enough so a while ago out it came and I've been determined to play nothing else until I've mastered the beast . The strings had been on it for around 3 or 4 years and I believe they were Martin SPs . Obviously they needed changing and as I am now a poverty stricken pensioner I decided to give these Addagios a go ......1/2 the price of almost everything else , you see.To my amazement they are absolutely fantastic strings .They are bright and jangly, exactly as I want them to be , easy to play and they stay in tune from the get go , which is a first for me with a 12 string .The guitar is a Taylor 355 , nice but not top of the range , and it is now an inspiration to play .Do not hesitate to switch to Addagio strings .I will change all my acoustics over the next few weeks to these and I'll give them a go on the electrics as well in due course, although I've used the same brand of strings on those for 40 years and still have a lot of spares knocking about !Trust me , these strings are at least as good as anything else out there and better than most costing a lot more money .

Best value 12 string guitar strings!
I got these as i had never restringed a 12 string guitar before, but was cleaning my sisters old one up for her. I chose this because they were one of the cheapest set of strings - but i am in no way dissapointed.Every string was labelled, making it easy for a first timer like me to know what to do. When stringed up, i was surpised by how nice they sounded.I highly recommend these to anyone looking for some good value strings!

It's a good buy
Sound is good, unfortunately 1 string snap easily during tuning but apart from that, it's still a good purchase...
