She 8 years old and into all things girly, so this is a perfect hair accessory!This handy little gadget allows you to apply gems to your hair. It’s easy to use and my niece is able to do this independently. Simply place the coloured ring of gems you want to use in the machine, place a section of hair in the bottom section and clamp down. The gems are applied to the hair with a sticky pad on the flat edge of the gem. It creates an effective and glam look to any hair style! This is easy to apply to the hair when it’s down, then pinning the hair up after.Great little product!

Not the greatest to be completely honest and it’s so so frustrating to get this to work and not fall apart. Cheap and flimsy to say the least. I really wanted this to work as it’s a great concept but unfortunately not when to put into practice. I’m not sure if we had a faulty one. On our experience would not be recommending unfortunately

I don’t take any pleasure in writing negative reviews, but in this case I am struggling to find anything positive to say about the product. I started, as I always do, by attempting to test the product. When I loosened the elastic band that holds this gadget shut, a piece fell off. I had only just taken this out of the box and so had no chance to familiarise myself with it yet, therefore I have no idea where the piece came from and I’m unable to replace it. That being said, it doesn’t seem to actually make any difference to the function. The packaging prominently proclaims “ Includes 100+ Gems!” and I was a bit surprised as it didn’t look like a huge number of gems included. You get 7 sheets with 15 gems on each, so a total of 105 gems - so the advertising is true, but in this case the “+” doesn’t signify much. I followed the instructions and loaded a sheet of gems into the machine. They are designed to line up with holes in the machine but quite a few of them did not. Additionally, some of the other sheets of gems had shifted in transit which meant the gems were no longer on their backing, so losing some of their adhesion. Basically the machine pressed a gem out through the holes and onto your hair or other surface. The thing is, they are self adhesive gems so you could just as easily do this with your hands. The instructions even tell you that if you miss your hair, don’t worry - just find the gem and put it on manually. The machine is meant to automatically advance onto the next gem but mine didn’t - I suspect this may be what the part that fell off would have done. Honestly, I am really not sure what the point of this is meant to be. It is currently selling for £8.99 which is a slight discount on its usual price, but you could save almost all of that money by purchasing self adhesive gemstones from the pound shop and sticking them on yourself.

This is really easy to use. Lift the clear circle and slide the gem ring in. Works well, just put strands of hair into the space between the top and bottom and press. The gem pushes out and sticks to hair. Great for kids, my teenage grandaughter will love blinging up her hair.
