Bathroom Electronic Timer is easy to install and works great!
This Enerlites variable bathroom timer can work with a fan, or a light, but not both at the same time. I wanted to prevent our bathroom fans from staying on all day (which is what happens when there's nobody there to turn it off), so I connected it up to our 2nd switch (inward mounted one from the door) in our bathrooms. The switch takes up a standard SPST rocker type switch opening. My wall plates and electrical boxes in our bathrooms were selected to house two SPST type rocker switches: One for the light and the other for the fan. The blue light in the photo only blinks twice after you push the desired "On" time for the light, or fan you connect it up to. After it blinks, the light stays off (which is a bit silly, but not a serious flaw). GE makes a similar, almost identical timer. I just didn't see that one first, or I would have ordered the GE one. I must tell you that after I connected power to the timers by turning on the circuit breaker (I installed one in the two bathrooms I have) I witnessed the fans running when I returned to the bathroom. For some reason, when power is first applied, the timer function in both cases was a bit confusing in that the big over-ride button on the bottom didn't turn off the fan. However, if you let the fan run and turn off by itself, then it works normally after that. It's just weird that on the first Power-on that the function of the big button doesn't seem to work. I would have given it five stars except for that confusing first power-up issue that caused me to double check my wiring. But it wasn't my wiring; it's some glitch in the way the switch first powers up because it did the same thing in two different bathrooms for the two timers I ordered.

Fantastic once installed, tough to install and first test
I have a bunch of these. They are what I installed at a previous house already, so when moving and putting in new ones for the bathrooms I knew what to expect. Here's the rub with these.Once you have installed the timer switch and turned power back onto the circuit, go make a sandwich. Seriously. Once power is back on that circuit, the timer switch takes up to 5 minutes to start working properly. If you run immediately from powering on the circuit to trying the timer switch, you will find that nothing works and you will question your life, especially after redoing the install several times.Install timer switch --> power on circuit --> wait 5 minutes --> try the timer switch.

Timer didn't work out of the box. But a few hours later it did.
Update: I left timer hooked up for a few hours and it started working. Not sure if a relay was stuck open. Also LED lights work now. See below. After installing the timer the fan started immediately without pressing any bottoms. LED lights didn't work and fan wouldn't shut off even after pressing the big on/off button, holding it down ect. I am an electrician and I have seen this before. This usually happens when the timer has been shorted. Unfortunately, I can't say this is a great product if I can't even get it to work. I will return and buy again. Maybe I got the defective one. Happens. Will update my review after I get my new one.Note to the consumer. Pro tip: If you buy timers or dimmers from big box stores make sure you check the package to see if it has been opened. Many amateur electricians will accidentally short the device and then put it in the box and return it. Then the company will be put back on the shelve. When I shop at big box stores and the device is not in a sealed box I will open and check to see if the wires/screws have any burn marks on it. Unfortunately, this happens online too.

Not a DIY type person usually, but it was fine to install.
The install was straight forward enough. I had some confusion because I had 2 black wires not 1 red/1 black, but turns out black/black works the same as red/black. Once I figured that out and re-stripped the wires from my old switch it went smoothly. Timer works great, and does what it is expected to do. No issues.

It did not work.
I installed this in my laundry room to control the fan. It did not work. I installed per the instruction. None of the buttons would work.

Easy install and it worked just fine
I was replacing and old on in a dual light receptacle. It went in easily, good instructions with it and it works great.

Serves exactly the purpose it was purchased for.
I bought this timer switch to use with the vent fan in the bathroom. Installation was easy with the 3 wire set up. I now have one of these installed on every bathroom vent fan in the house. I would recommend this product to others looking for a timer switch.

The LED indicator doesn't work as expected
Purchased this for the fan in my bathroom. It's pretty straightforward to install, but after installing it, I found out that the LED indicator doesn't work as expected. I'd expect it to be on when I clicked on a button, and it should go off when the time is up. However, I noticed that it doesn't reliably turn on when a button is clicked. Either it's a design flaw, or the specific model I purchased is malfunctioning.
