but the worst aspect of the stand is how you secure
Ive wanted a stand/stool for ages, finally after a lot of "ummmm & arr-ng", I bought this one on the basis thatI have used a lot of Stagg cables and found them to be robust. First impression, Sone reviews mention a solid build, and with the exception of the parts that hold the guitar I would agree ,Mine arrived one time, with the left guitar Support thingy (apologies for Tech Jargon( far from level to the right Support thingy, where as the right is perpendicular to the stool leg it is attached to (when its not in use) the left, bears off and is out by abput 4 or 5 inches, on inspection the chair I found that the guitar holders are attached to 2 of the 4 legs using very thin and bendable metal. also the left one is about 5cm lower that the right. "Shoddy", but the worst aspect of the stand is how you secure? the neck. A thin piece of elastic under a most uncomfortable seat, is meant to be dragged across the guitar next and clipped onto a hook ti the left, on mine the hook was not perturbed enough, the elastic band slipped off the hook and hit me in the eye. I can't recommend this & Im surprise at Stagg, Using it as a stool was for me and friends Ive subjected its uncomfortableness even after attaching cushions and padding from and old office chair it still is unusable, As for the Stand part there is no way I could trust it to safely hold a guitar. If the buttock pain isn't enough you can add to your discomfort by attempting to use it as a stand and stool at the same time and have a headstock in the spine, I don't know if the design has been changed, or I got a dud either way £5 would by a farer price. Ive always viewed Stagg as a brand that delivers sturdy long lasting products & yes if you compare for e.g a vanDamm XLR Mic cable to a Stagg one theres a difference, but not in build quality

Excellent guitar stool. Buy one!
I am really really pleased with my stool. I spent ages reading reviews of various guitar stools and finally settled on this one. It’s exceeded my expectations. It’s really well made, comes pre-assembled, I was expecting to have to get a screwdriver out but no- it’s ready to go out of the box. Perfect height for me - I’m about 5’10”. The seat is padded enough to be comfortable. The stool folds almost flat for easy storage and the built-in guitar stand works fine. Overall I am extremely pleased with this and glad I chose this stool - I highly recommend it.

Handy Stool
I've only had this a few days but so far so good. When playing gigs & buskers I like to sit upright usually with one foot on the floor whilst playing but more often than not the chairs available are too low so you're sitting hunched up....not good for the voice or posture, or a bar stool which is too high & doesn't have any foot rests. This stool is just the right height, you can sit with one foot on the footrest and one foot on the floor & it's light enough to carry around, plus it has the bonus of the integrated guitar stand, I only hope it lasts.

too tal for me but great product.
i gave it 5 stars because it would be great for someone taller. just because it isn't comfortable for my short 5 7 ass doesn't mean it isn't great. I wish i was taller.

Excellent value and very sturdy.
Perfect height for guitar playing and when not playing you pull out the 'arms' that become a guitar stand.

still good and
is well constructed and solid base to sit. but is not lightweight and is too long to carry with a trolley, stagg probably should think about how minimize legs... still good and usefull
