I've loved these lamps and was really wanting to get one, so when I saw this at the price it was, I jumped and I am so glad I did. It's on all the time, the remote is really handy and easy to use and the toggle switch on the cord is handy too. Good light quality and brightness and the colour selections are all very pretty.

I’m really impressed with the Mydethun sunset projection lamp! For the price, it works exceptionally well and creates a stunning atmosphere in the room. It’s great for setting the mood in the bedroom, or if you’re like me- trying to do creative photography with it. You have to be at a quite close proximity as the output of light fades in distance and the ring of light is fairly small. However I’d say it is quite strong in colour, I just wish some colour variants actually differentiated more as some looked very alike.

I love this so much! It really is like a sunset. Makes any room feel better in my opinion. I took it to the bathroom and had a shower bathed in its orangery light, so lovely. It casts great shadows of my plants and is great for gently lighting a dark corner. Much better brightness and colour than other similar lamps I’ve tried.

Wasn’t sure what to expect based on the reviews but omg it’s so nice, it literally changes the whole vibe of the room and the colour choices are great. I don’t really get the reviews saying it’s flimsy because it’s fine, I guess the only downside is that I can’t dim the light without it making a really high pitched noise, until I turn the brightness up again.

How does someone sell something called a sunset lamp but it only has 2 function colours nothing to do with the sunset. I got this lamp and the main yellow and sunset colour do not even work on the lamp. But purple and red do. I feel like I’ve been scammed.

Decent product but after a few uses the red light settings seem to be a lot dimmer than when first used. I think the LED’s have worn already which is poor considering it’s a new product. The remote control also does not work unless less than 50cm from the device.

Luce veramente molto bella, ma le condizioni della lente lasciano molto a desiderare, graffi, sporcizia e impronte! Stento a credere che si tratti di un prodotto nuovo! Imballato in maniera pessima, il nastro nella porzione superiore della scatola era intatto ma le alette a incastro sul fondo erano sfondate! Domani mi arriverà la versione tramonto, speriamo bene…

Its one of the more reasonably priced ones out there. The base is very heavy and sturdy. This makes it hard to tip over. The hue of the lamp is very pretty and looks even better in person. It is visible during day light awell. For best result, you have to turn it on during night. I use to have it on the floor and the light easily reflects on the ceiling of my room. You have to play around with the angle a bit to get it just right. Now I have to get myself another one becouse my mother took it home with her since she liked it so much.

Habe die Mydethun Sunset Lamp, Color sunset red (ohne FB) bestellt und erhalten. Lieferung erfolgte im Originalkarton, als Umverpackung eine recht stabile Papiertüte von Amazon. Wenn der Lieferdienst sorgsam damit umgeht, ist das ausreichend, wobei ein stabiler Umkarton besseren Schutz bieten würde. Die Verarbeitung der Leuchte macht einen guten Eindruck. Allerdings macht der leichte Gerätefuß den Stand etwas labil, besonders bei weiterer Vor- oder Rückneigung des Oberteils; das ist verbesserungsfähig, kann man aber auch selbst "nachbasteln". Der Leistungsverbrauch der Lampe ist mit 5 Watt angegeben und wird im Gebrauch mit 4,1 W deutlich unterboten. Der schwarze Alu-Kopf der Lampe ist nach etwa 4 Stunden Gebrauch gut warm, aber nicht heiß; das "Glas-Glubsch-Auge" bleibt kühl. Die Leuchtkraft ist in Helligkeit und Weite sehr gut, bei wandnaher Aufstellung natürlich intensiver, aber auch an der ca. 5 Meter entfernten Wand ist das farbige Licht noch wahrnehmbar, wenn auch nicht gerade als starker Effekt. Man kann auch bei diesem Modell die Lichtfarbe ändern, indem man die Farbfolie unter dem Glasteil entsprechend austauscht (der vordere Haltering ist mit einem Feingewinde geschraubt). So ließe sich übrigens bei Erfordernis auch die LED erneuern. Für den, der Spaß an Lichtspielerei und einfachem Farbeffekt hat, ist diese Leuchte durchaus zu empfehlen.
