Having purchased a stainless steel cocktail set previously from bar@drinkstuff on Amazon, and having learnt to perfect our cocktail making (especially our favourite Mojitos :-) we decided to add to our 'collection' by buying an ice crusher. We looked at quite a few variations of crushers and decided on this manual version. It was at a good price and when we received it, we were extremely pleased with the quality and it looks and feels far more expensive than it was. It does exactly what you'd expect, very easily and with no fuss, it's the easiest to clean and looks absolutely great alongside our stainless steel cocktail set. I would recommend this product.

Nice design goid weight and feels solid. Also looks good.It has a metal chrome plated body and handle. Wanted one with steel fins inside where the blades crush the ice against, but can't find one anywhere. Having said this the plastic fins seem quite tough, only time will tell.Like other reviews have said, don't overload with ice, a few cubes at a time and be prepared to move the blades back and for if the resistance is too much this will loosen/ move the ice cube and generally the next rotation will cut through it. This is not a professional device (at £20 its pretty good value for my money)With a bit of patience and using dexterity rather than brute force you break up a good quantity if ice into nice size pieces in a few minutes.Unless you require loads if crushed ice and have over £150 to spend on a decent electric machine, this is an excellent buy.Lost a star because the winder arm screws in and is fine going clockwise but if you have a stubborn ice cube and wind anti clockwise it undoes against the thread and you loose any traction.

Does exactly what you would expect, crushes ice! Quite stylish, actually matched our Nespresso machine.Easily provides enough ice for two frozen margarita's. However, ice not fine enough for a slushy, but good enough for cocktails.Overall, pretty good

Quite possibly the best party utensil I've ever bought. The stainless steel/chrome effect on the case is pretty good. Sturdy and up to the job of crushing ice enough for me to safely add to my blender to make strawberry daiquiris.BUT BEWARE - the ice crushed by this utensil gives you terrible hangovers. A house party was transformed into a cocktail party and nearly every guest was struck down with an uncontrollable urge to get up and dance and sing to "Uptown Funk" on the Karaoke.The following day the side effects of the ice were extreme. Tiredness, Headaches and Dehydration plus the need to eat junk food followed by long naps in a darkened room. So 5 Stars for its ice crushing ability but minus 10 stars for a Hangover From Hell. Buyer beware.

This works ok, I had trouble fitting the handle to the main body - the screw threads must don't seem to match up well which makes it a bit crooked when fitted. Works okay though

Excellent little bar ice crusher ideal for cocktails,this was the 2nd one I had bought from this seller the first being perfect,the 2nd one came but the handle at the back wasn't holding due to the screw being stripped,I contacted the seller who immediately replied saying another one was being delivered the next day which was perfect.would recommend this item,looks lovely on my work top,works brilliantly and would definitely use this seller again.

This model is in the great classic design and better quality as some other cheap versions of the same design on the market, though not as solid & well build as the design original (i.e. the Olympia Manual Ice Crusher is has a cast iron lower body that is heavy and rock solid, while most cheaper models including this one have a formed sheet metal lower body that does not quite have the same weight and balance and durability).

I bought this ice crusher as I make a lot of cocktails in my spare time, both for friends and myself. Whether it be a short drink where the crushed ice is used as it comes, or a frozen drink where it's blended, I can rely on this bit of kit to get the perfect ice every time. The blades are sharp enough to crush even large ice cubes with ease - just make sure that the lid is on before you start crushing. The handle has to be screwed on, but it's not a problem, as it's easy to attach. The ice tray can be pulled out with ease, and the chrome finish is very neutral, enabling it to fit in with any modern kitchen or bar. A good price for a very good bit of kit. Highly recommended.

C'est le deuxième que j'achète. Je n'ai pas trouvé mieux pour le prix.S'il était entièrement en métal cela serait le top . Mais plus le même prix !

Ottimo per fare cocktail in casa , trita più cubetti per volta, noi ne abbiamo provato max 10 per volta , e per essere un tritaghiaccio manuale trita anche molto velocemente

Aunque engaña al verlo, dando sensación de fragilidad, una vez se comienza a usar se revela como un artilugio muy útil, y con el que en muy pocos minutos y no demasiado esfuerzo se puede picar una buena cantidad de hielo.Embalaje y presentación correctos.Si hubiese que poner una pega no es al producto, sino a la empresa de transporte (SEUR), que deja mucho que desear.

Zunächst war ich positiv überrascht über das recht hohe Gewicht des Crushers. Da kommt doch Vertrauen auf. Aussen Metall, innen ein Kunstoffeinsatz der aber sehr stabil zu sein scheint. Das "Mahlwerk" scheint aus rostfreiem Stahl zu sein, jedenfalls ist auch nach einigen Wochen noch alles blitzblank.Der Crusher ist robust, nimmt auch eine ganze Schale Eiswürfel klaglos auf. Beim crushen braucht man eine Mischung aus Gewalt und Gefühl, dann klappt es wunderbar und schnell.Das einzige Problem war, das bei der Lieferung der Handgriff abgeschraubt in der unteren Schale lag und sich dort so verklemmt hatte dass ich den Boden rausschrauben musste um die Schale rauszubekommen.Gefährlich gut, weil das crushen jetzt so viel einfacher geworden ist, dass der Konsum and Cocktails deutlich gestiegen ist.
