Cross Stitch Gold Plated Needles Size 26 - Pack of 10

Feel nice in the fingers and glide easily through Aida and Evenweave

Thread has difficult time to smoothly travel through the needle ear.

I cross stitch a lot but am unable to use nickel needles. These gold plated ones eventually wear off the plating but last me a long time, which makes them great value for money. I will definitely buy again.

The packaging was a bit basic, but let's face it, all I needed was the product. I've gone through a pack of 6 regular one. Not sure if that's me being heavy handed or warming the needle and getting around and through tricky bits (usually closing off). These feel much tougher and look prettier. Happy with them.

The gold plating wore off within a few days of frequent use (top needle is fresh, bottom was used for less than a week). I bought these to avoid irritation from cheap metals, but the rash on my fingers tells me that these were not the ones to getThey move smoothly through the Aida, but bend easily if you're doing some awkward stitching. The eye is also so narrow that you have to use a needle threaderThey're fine for what they cost if you don't have dishydrotic eczema, but very disappointing for me
