Has anyone had this kettle longer than 2 years. I'm fed up with kettles that leak from the bottom after 14 months. Mae

Hi I have only had this kettle for a few weeks and i wouldnt recommend it. It takes a long time to boil despite claims that it is a fast boil, and is very noisy. I was very disappointed with it, as it was nearly £60.00 which is a lot of money for a kettle. Definitely not good value for money I am sorry to say. I might add that i also purchased the de longi 4 slot toaster which I love and would recommend. Hope this helps.

Is the interior body of this made with 'food grade' high quality stainless steel?

Hi. The interior is high quality stainless steel however not of food grade standard. The filter piece is not of stainless steel and believe this to be plastic. Despite this, this is my second kettle and I’m very pleased with the high standard quality. It is very robust yet stylish and represents good value for money, so I thoroughly recommend it.

is this kettle quiet ?

hi, it's a hard question to answer as it's relative to what you're used to. it's not the quietest but I've found it no noisier than any other quick boil kettles.
