I love this iron - it's portable, small, and configurable. The included power brick is more then enough for me to do small repairs (capacitors, resistors, etc.) on mainboards. I do recommend getting a soldering iron holder as the little plastic feet that keep the iron at a small angle come off easily.

I've been using those larger style soldering irons for years that you just plug in, let them head up, and then use. This is a drastic improvement over that style. I love the temperature control so I can fine tune what I'm setting it to and also the size of the device itself makes it way more comfortable when you're doing a lot of soldering. I just did a whole stereo wiring harness with this and I was amazed the whole time.

Too complicated to understand operating modes.

I used this a few times. Then the screen locked up and stopped heating. Worse yet the HANDEL started to heat up! Contacted the company that needed more than messaging and sending them pics. The asked for a video as proof. But you can’t send video in the Amazon chat. So they had me email a weird email that random numbers. They sent me one, got lost in mail. Sent another one. By then I reached out to Amazon and they got a Replacment sooner than the company (this whole think took 2 and a half weeks). Plug one of them in today, it sizzled and smelled like burnt electronics. Plugged in the other Replacment and the screen was messed up and it never heated and yet again, the handle heated up! This is garbage. THREE! THREE broken products!! Never again. Don’t waste your money or time.

The soldering gun is just absolutely amazing. Small capable with great features like USB charging and a good battery life. It's really great to have as part of your traveling tool kit. It doesn't take up much space and it can get the job done.

This tool does get very hot, but it is extremely picky on the power source, plug, wire, etc. I good only get it to work for about five minutes before it stopped drawing power all together. It is nice and slim, but a pain to use. Would not recommend.

Excelente funcionamiento, la estabilización de la temperatura es muy buena. El calentamiento se presenta en la punta del cautín lo que hace que sea más precisa la temperatura con que trabajamos al soldar. Es como un buen lápiz para soldar, muy portátil y cómodo.

The media could not be loaded. Nice compact kit. Works fairly well. There is some stuff I feel more comfortable using a traditional soldering iron, but this kit is great for quick fixes and small electronics work. Pretty impressive little gadget.
