Great mouse!
I have this set at the highest DPI and it is incredibly accurate and has 0 lag. I had a Logitech trackball before and this puts the Logitech to shame.

lasted about a week
it worked for a week before it started to have to be unplugged and re-plugged back up. Once I did that it would work for a little. after a few says it got worse over time until it now occasionally works. It does not work with windows 11 workstations either

Roller Ball sticks
The USB connection is solid, no problems but the roller ball does not roll smoothly and catches making it difficult to precisely place the mouse arrow on the screen. This is actually the third Sanwa roller ball mouse that I have purchased and the first time I have encountered this problem. However, it makes the mouse virtually useless.

Sticky ball
The ball does not roll smoothly. It sticks inside that makes it difficult control my cursor.

REVISED-Not as good as the wireless Logitech
UPDATE- I 1st want to say this company’s customer service is great! They emailed me for a full refund after seeing my post which I thought was so nice for them to reach out. I was going to send it back, but ai then started playing around with settings this morning when I got back to work and it seems I may have corrected the problem. I will be keeping this mouse a hopefully it continues to work well. I did change my star rating to 4 star from a 2 as well.Bought this because work didn’t want me using Bluetooth. The left click button only works 1/2 the time and the ball is very sticky. If I can find a better brand I’ll buy it. This one pretty much sucks, but I’m stuck with it given I need this type of mouse and was the only one I could find to plug in. 😢

Good trackball, buttons are too soft - not a FPS gaming choice
I like trackball mice. Ever since Logitech removed the wired option from their trackball mice I have always looked for a good solid replacement. I game a lot and I do a lot of desktop work so accuracy, speed, and ease of use are important. The logitech trackballs are still top tier, in my opinion, and while the Perixx is ok in terms of buttons it's trackball has issues with getting stuck occasionally. So I looked to an older company whose wired trackballs I have used but found to be ergonomically lacking: Sanwa. This particular Sanwa Supply wired trackball mouse (nova) is ergonomically solid for my large hand size. The mouse ball tracks well but, and this is a serious but: the mouse buttons are very soft and do not always register being pressed (very apparent with the right mouse button). So button registration is an issue. Occasionally I had an issue with the trackball not registering movement correctly, but it seemed to resolve itself once I turned off my logitech mouse (no idea why that would impact it).For most desktop uses, this will be a fine mouse. For casual gaming it will be good as well. For anything requiring fast accuracy in mouse click registration or hardcore gaming the mouse falls short. If Sanwa replaced the button clicker with what worked on their trackballs years ago (more tactile, less membrane), then this would be my goto for all uses.
