These are about 0.5mm narrower than an AA Duracell. I measured about 14.03mm diameter for Duracell, and these were around 13.5 - 13.6mm with an AAA installed. Home this helps. BTW there was no rattle or looseness with my rechargeable Lithiums. I managed to solder copper wires to each end. The large size popped out during this but it fit back in again fine and it connects well.

I was able to get a super deal on AAA batteries, but, had a bunch of flameless candles that required, AA. So, purchased these and they worked perfectly.
