Kinect Sports: Season 2 - Kinect Required (Xbox 360)

I just loved Kinect Sports and still do and was looking forward to season two. Season 2 makes a great addition to the first release. Great blend of sports and well excecuted. The grahics are nice and the kinect control work very well.American Football I like the least. I like to play it for real. but this was a bit of a let down. Too much in it that stops the game flow. Tennis is lovely, better then the Wii version. The control of the ball is great and once you go beyond beginner it's a good challenge. Darts is the odd one out, but still very well done. It's much more challenging then I anticipated. Gold is very relaxing and fun to play. Shame there aren't more courses to play, but you still get a good number of holes to play. I really like how you choose how many holes you like to play. Skiing is great, but too short, too little tracks and that's a little let down. Baseball on the other hand is very well done, challinging and really fun to play with 2 people.Great buy for the the whole family.

Kinect Sports was a great game and I couldn't wait for the second Kinect Sports to be released! The voice-controlled menu adds a nice touch to this game and there are lots of new songs to add atmosphere to the overall feel of the game. Darts is perfect, but they could of made it harder and more realistic if you had the choice of removing the "cross-hairs" from your aim, though you still have to throw straight to hit your "target". Tennis is great, but could of been better if you could move your body towards the ball or nearer to the net. Instead you only move your arms about and the Xbox moves your avatar towards the ball! Golf is great and the ability to have upto 4 players is a nice touch. Skiing is great too and very realistic. Then there's American football and baseball, which is a great addition to the Kinect. There's also mini variations to the 6 sports too, I especially liked the pop darts, where you can have upto 4 players and you have to pop the balloons with your darts. Overall, a great game, just as good as the first Kinect Sports, but there is still room for improvement. I now hope there will be a Kinect Sports: Season 3!!

Even if you don't play these games yourself, it is worth buying for the sheer comedy value of watching your friends and family frantically ski along the floor. We were all screaming with laughter! Lol! That is until you have a go yourself and you get so engrossed you wonder why everyone behind you is in hysterics! Great fun and definately good exercise! Maybe a little expensive but the cheapest entertainment you will ever buy! Was deliverad on time and in good condition. Another succesful Amazon purchase!

Out of all the games I've bought, I reckon the Sports games give the most fun per £ spent!Practice helps us improve our games skills, and we keep on coming back to them while putting other games to one side.We bought the Kinect to help us get more exercise (and fun) during the winter, and feel this game has really helped us.Just one word of warning, we played a lot on Christmas Day and next day my wife felt really stiff! So moderation in all things :)

Scratch all the way round and will not load properly. Waste of time and money. Was a present for family and now need to send back to myself before I can possibly return it.

After trying the full set of games, you got to love the darts and the golf! But, unfortunately I was very disappointed at the randomness of the baseball game, becoming somewhat frustrating. The tennis game is a bit boring since all you do is move your upper body, the avatars run around for you. The football one was also very random, and extremely hard to play in my opinion, there's little you can do to block your opponent. The ski one is very fun too!!Overall, for the price it is, for me it was worth if for the darts, golf and ski games, the rest I don't think i'm touching again, after having season 1 with ALL the great games I was a bit disappointed with the ones i mentioned above in season 2.

Despite having a couple of American games and us being Europeans and not knowing a thing about baseball for e.g. we found ourselves enjoyng them the most in the end and learning how the're played ... kind of!Had read about the darts and calibrations issues...that was not an issue at all for us - very accurate and very enjoyable. Maybe has to do with chosing the right setting for your TV height (as there are 3).All in all really great games.
