Good suspenders
These are great suspenders, especially for us, older men, and who have more going on in front than in back, (if you get my drift) keeps your pants in place no matter what you’re doing, great for working in the yard or getting in and out of the car, very heavy duty, I don’t know how well the bachelor buttons are going to hold up But for now it’s working great

Amazing quality.
My boyfriend LOVES these. The fact that they came with exta buttons for replacement is amazing too, we used them on jeans that did not qlreqdy have them. They are comfortable for all day wear, and stay secure wayy better than the flimsy clips many styles feature.

simple item, good quality
I have now bought two pairs of these suspenders. So far I have used them only for jeans, which are heavy enough to need the two-inch width. They come with rivets, but I already had suspender buttons in place (on the insides of the jeans), and these do equally well. I like the solid color. I don't like the "Carhartt" stamp on the brass or the leather, but it is tolerable since it is not very visible. The leather pieces that attach to the rivets/buttons are nicely finished on the visible side but unfinished on the inside (most other brands of suspenders have the same minor defect). I called Carhartt to ask what product to use to seal those surfaces, and they recommended Nikwax. I got a tube and applied it...seems to work well. I am very happy with these suspenders and I expect them to last for years.

Quality materials and construction
Highly durable and well constructed, with 2-inch side shoulder straps give these suspenders all-day comfort. I use these with Filson double-tin hunting pants that are heavy and fit me a bit large. But these suspenders keep the pants in the best position all day. No more having to hike up the pants. Highly recommended.

A Favorite
These are getting harder and harder to find but are well worth the searching. If the old clip on is more of a nuisance than a support, You've got to go with the button style. I absolutely love them. I've been using them along with the bachelor buttons which you install yourself with a hammer and a hard surface. Don't use Carrhart's buttons though use the Saw Mill Logger's buttons because the Carrhart buttons will work you to death when trying to insert through jeans or heavy denim whereas the others can be pressed right thru with your fingers and then tapped with the hammer to complete the rivet style connection of the two button pieces. I've used these button and then Carrhart suspenders for over 10 years and they are comfortable you NEVER have to worry about pulling up your trousers! End plumbers butt forever! I just wish that they had them in more colors and were a tad longer for us taller guys but not a major problem compared with the alternative!

The real deal for lumbersexuals
After a certain point you tired of hitching your pants up, or worse, trying to prevent your ass from hanging out while bent down or while working with both hands above your head up on a ladder. Enter suspenders: everything hangs from your shoulders to keep your waistband secure and your buttcrack's modesty intact.I bought these because they use real leather tabs (instead of metal clips) which means they're virtually impossible to break. They're made of a thick, woven, stretchy fabric almost 2" wide for plenty of support. Mine were dandy red to really complete the outfit. The only disappointment was the 'Made in Dominican Republic' tag; while I have nothing against the people of the Dominican Republic I would hope that a 'worker' oriented company such as Carhartt would use on-shore labour, but I guess that ship has sailed long ago.Tabs and the brace in the back are thick, veg tanned leather. A little stiff but also incredibly durable. Carhartt includes the buttons/rivets for these and installation is pretty simple. Just mark the locations on the waistband (I installed mine on the outside), punch a small hole with an awl, push the back of the rivet through, mount the button, and pound them in with a hammer. The whole process took me about 5 minutes. Another note is they include two extra sets of buttons incase you bust one during install or need a replacement in the future - this is a nice detail to see. They fit well (and are very adjustable) and have the bonus of supporting the weight of all the tools, hardware, and miscellaneous parts in your pockets from your shoulder for more comfort. Plus you can hook your thumbs behind them while chewin' the fat, a'yup.

Great for my work pants
They do exactly as I’d hoped. I use instead o f a belt on the days I’m bent over a lot and it stops with plumber’s butt! Also way more comfortable than a belt. I wish I’d converted earlier. I think I’ll buy in another colour. The shoulder straps are easy to adjust and hold their position really well.

I bought these for my chainsaw pants and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and sturdiness of them. they are highly adjustable and are comfortable.

Comes with extra rivets
Bought as a gift for my fiancé, he works in forestry and suspenders are a lot more comfortable than a belt. The rivets have held up very well. It’s very well-made. I would definitely recommend this over other brands.
