Got this for my 3 year old and he loves playing this with his mom.

This little set is so cute and it makes learning small words fun. My granddaughter loves using the letter tiles to make words that match the pictures. I recommend this set for your littles!

My grandson started preschool and had a birthday, so I got him these and is he so excited by having them and learning from them! They are very easy to use quite sturdy and durable enough that they will be given to his preschool when he is done with them. These are an excellent value for your money, and I highly recommend them for your Littles, who are learning.

This is a fun way for young children to practice sounding out and reading short vowel CVC words. It's important to approach reading in a variety of ways, and this is more hands on than just practicing flashcards. In addition to practicing spelling the included picture card words, this set is also good for making "nonsense" words (w-e-g) just to practice putting sounds together, while discouraging guessing real words. The wooden parts of the set are smooth and well made. Letters fit perfectly into the cutouts. The word cards are printed on thick cardstock with a slight sheen to them. There were a couple of issues I noticed, however. The box is a little tricky to put things away in. I would have preferred it to open on the top, rather than with tabs on the side. Also, there are six cards that I will be throwing out. Three of them are vowel sound unit words, rather than CVC (toy, cow, key), which 4-5 year olds will not have been introduced to yet. Two of them are words a child will not be familiar with (cog, and peg, which they will know, but it's alongside a picture of clothespins). The last is a realistic looking gun, which is not appropriate, in my opinion. Overall this is a great set for practicing basic reading at a kindergarten level, and, at of the time of this review, is a great value.

I think it's nice. Small words for kids to learn. Part of the problem my kid has is he has memorized the pictures not the words themselves. He also at times just glances at the word on the back so he doesn't have to do it.

Is really helping the kiddos out with their learning ! This is a MUST have for little kids who are not in school yet!

This is my child's favorite learning toy, the build quality is sturdy and it is far better than the cheap plastic.
