Galison Michael Storrings Dog Park in Four Seasons 1000 Piece Puzzle,for Kid

The box was taped on all 4 sides with cheap plastic tape that too 15 mins to carefully peel off.. and what was worse that the plastic bag for the jigsaw pieces inside was already cut.. meaning it was a used jigsaw.Now I understand that products may be returned. But this is a 1000 pc jigsaw puzzle. How do I know if some pieces are missing? Am I supposed to spend 1 hour counting 1000 pieces? Or complete a full puzzle to find out that a piece maybe missing??Totally pathetic and irresponsible for a product like this. The least that could have been done is a note assuring that pieces have been checked (that is if they had bothered to actually do so) as that all pieces are there.

This is one of the prettiest puzzles we've ever done. It's been such a pleasure working on the individual elements and watching the picture emerge. The circular shape of the puzzle threw us off initially and the border was a bit of a challenge. However, once the border was assembled the rest of the puzzle came together quickly; we finished it in nine days, and the shape of the puzzle turned out to be a neat feature.If you really enjoy the aesthetics of your puzzles then I can't recommend this one enough. If you like your puzzles to be really challenging then this might not be the one for you.Side note: My mom loves this brand because the pieces are very high quality; they feel great, they snap together, and they stay together once assembled.

This is a lovely round puzzle with fun colors & schemes. It is perfect as a first time 1000 piece puzzle, or for the whole family to try out. This is the only reason for the 3 stars.HOWEVER- the construction is really cheap, pieces were delaminating when we took them out of the box. I don't care if the claimed paper is 90% recycled, the pieces are delayering and even the top layer (the image) was separating.There were 10 pcs that needed glueing before assembly and there are more now since it was put together and taken apart.There are many manufacturers that make better quality puzzles. Look to them to avoid disappointment.

Puzzle is a bit of a challenge when you begin, but definitely do-able without frustration. Pieces are sturdy and fit well, and it's beautiful when done, worthy of framing!
