Mission Praise (Two-Volume Set): Full Music

World famous praise book made famous by Billy Graham. There is a one volume complete but if you are playing from the piano the two volumes that is better because the books are thinner and restaurant the music stands easily. Such an improvement to have two volumes rather than one mahoosive thing that wouldn't fit the music stand on any piano or keyboard. These books open nicely and stay put, even when playing the songs at either end - brilliant!

I had borrowed an old version and was missing all the new songs. Time for an up to date copy, but they can be very expensive! This 2 volume version has all the songs we use at church and was an excellent price. Easier to manage too, as each individual volume fits on a music stand more easily.

Just what our church choir needed, full music copies. We would have liked a just melody edition as well but not available.Arrived very quickly and well packaged.

A useful edition covering all of Mission Praise Song and Hymns. The main drawbacks are that the Indexes are at the end of the 2nd volume only, which means that one has to have both books in front of you if you are to find suitable items for specific occasions and that being in two volumes they are too bulky to carry around. However this comes down to a matter of personal taste and convenience.As in previous editions, the indexes are not detailed or comprehensive enough to be as useful as in other hymn/song books. It also strikes me as surprising that, unlike many other not dissimilar books, that, especially considering the Biblically based tradition from which Mission Praise has emanated, there is no 'scriptural index' through which one can seek to link particular passages of the bible with specific hymns and vice versa. It's something that I had hoped might have been rectified in this (final?) edition. To find scriptural allusions and more comprehensive one is forced to look at other hymn books and then see if they are in the current edition.

All the right tunes in all the right places

Very Pleased with this latest Mission Praise Music book. Much more useful now it is in two volumes - it fits the music stand better! I agree the pages are thinner but this makes the books lighter and as they are only in use one day a week I do not think this point is a problem. Very good price too. Thank you.

This 2-volume set of traditional hymns and contemporary Christian music is probably the most extensive compilation I have ever seen - well over 1,300 pages. Much of the music was new to me, as it originated in the UK. I love the fact that you not only get the piano music and words for each song, but guitar chords are also included. I first heard some of the songs sung at a church in Ireland. I fell in love with them and upon my return to the USA, I immediately ordered the books. It has been worth every penny I paid, and I have already shared some of the music with my church here in Maine. Highly, highly recommended!

I was relieved that it was a two volume edition as they are easier to manage rather than one large volume. I was also impressed with the service. The blue bag arrived on 16th April, rather than a box, which was an extra special surprise. The previous edition only had 1,250 hymns/song. The 30th Anniversary series has 1,385 hymns/songs - an extra bonus.Susannah Cavill.Australia.

Beautifully done- great for research into hymnody, especially 20th century.
