Kaytee Spinner, Mini Exercise Wheel, 4.5 Inch, for Dwarf Hamsters, Mice (Colours Vary)

Well... The superpet silent spinner wheel 6.5" is an all in all excellent hamster, I am going to give you the most unbiased hamster review I possibly can. First of this wheel comes with a stand or a tab at the back of the wheel which enables it to be clipped to a wire (horizontally wired) cage, the cage does not however clell to vertical wired cages. The wheel itself makes minimal noise but then again you will never get a silent wheel, as the hamsters build pace on the wheel it begins to make a rumbling noise IF it is clipped to a wire cage, or maybe this was just my wheel, the wheel comes in a variation of colours as you may already know, so this makes the wheel all the more attractive, it is best to attach this wheel to the cage because MANY MANY hamsters have been know to topple over and knock down the wheel whilst trying to get directly underneath it while they explore every inch of their cages as they do and hamsters have nor the strength nor intelligence to pick it back up. Also when the hamster builds pace on the wheel it begins to make a small rumbling noise the sort of noise you hear when you stick your index fingers in your ears then use your thumb to smack the ear lobe, nevertheless I think this hamster is a good wheel and by the way it Is perfectly OK!!! For syrian hamsters, what most people don't know about syrian hamsters and their excercise system is that a hamster will walk on a wheel (if need be) to burn off the calories if the wheel is too small, that's why it is important to buy a hamster wheel big enough for your hamster although if you want your hamster to live the luxury life, buy the 12 INCH

I ordered 2 of these for my pair of dwarf hamsters. It was obvious straight away that I had recieved a broken wheel as 1 made a very quiet purr, whilst the other made a very loud clacky noise. I sent it back straight away through Amazon returns and they supplied me with a replacement in good time, which was fine. Loved the colours which I was supplied with - pink and purple, the broken one was green. The wheels stand alone in the cage very well, and neither of my hamsters have managed to move or knock them over. They also have an attachment so they can be held up with the bars. They are very attractive, and of course very quiet. The hamsters love that it is weighted on ball bearings which makes it easier for them to run faster. Very reccomended!The 6.5" is a good size for a dwarf hamster, although TOO SMALL for a syrian, particularly a fully grown one! Please purchase the 12" size for a Syrian as bending their back as they run will cause long term spinal problems and they will be very unhappy!

I got this wheel for my degus, as i wanted one without spokes, as it can hurt their feet, and also was attracted by the 'silent' part of the name since they are kept in my bedroom at all times, including at night. Although a bit more expensive, this wheel is very big so worth the money. All 3 of my degus can run on it at the same time, which they love doing to be honest, which is good. It is made of thick plastic, so is quite chew proof. You must be careful if buying this however, as it is one of the biggest wheels you can buy, and is good for things like chinchillas and hedgehogs, so bear it in mind, i have a large 2 tier chinchilla cage for my degus, about 80 cm high and it just about fit in, as the cage is split in half for them to climb. It is 'silent' as said in the name. It makes no noise itself, but still makes noise when the side of the cage rattles when it spins fast, so also take this into account. Overall though, I was really pleased with it :)

I bought a 6 inch Silent Spinner a few years ago and liked the quality of it and the fact that there was no long spindle. Now I needed a bigger a wheel for my syrian hamster and after spending a long time looking for a suitable 8/10 inch wheel and being unsuccessful, I decided to buy this monster. What a waste of money. The plastic is of good quality and the mechanism on the back is a great idea to support the weight of the wheel, but they are the only two good things I can say about it.The wheel is very stiff and oiling it has made no difference. Also, the screw that acts as the axle is very short so the yellow part on the front cannot be screwed on enough to stop it from coming off, and without it being on too tight to make the wheel even stiffer. Not only that, the screw only comes through a hole in the plastic with resting on a tube or shaft like most wheels, so the weight of the wheel is constantly grinding on the metal screw. The wheel has come off several times whilst my hamster has been running in it, though luckily I have been in the room to prevent it from falling on him. I'm glad I was only able to purchase one wheel at the time, otherwise my other hamster could also have been in danger.This wheel is unsafe and I will be returning it after 3 weeks of problems.

had a problem with a couple of other wheels that they are noisy. But this one is pretty silent. Good one, can recommend it.

If this is to be a silent wheel, then the manufacturer should out in some effort to make it that way.The wheel is otherwise great but just not silent (squeaky).

Nice big wheel for chinchilla, can be mounted to metal cage without the stand.

Works fine and is stable but its barely been a month since purchase and its started squeaking. The spinning mechanism is plastic on plastic so I'm unsure where the squeak is coming from. I tried oiling every part that couldve possibly been causing it and still squeaks. Really disappointed that there's no refund option. Better off getting a Carolina Storm or TicTac bucket wheel

Pied vraiment difficile à enlever mais une fois fait et installer super roue silencieuse, attention à choisir la bonne taille par rapport au rongeur, le dos de l’animal doit être plat sinon risque de gros soucis avec le temps

I'm really satisfied with this purchase. It's not cheap but worth it's price. The inside is nice and spacious, my hedgie is grown up so he needs some extra room to move. It stands still while he's running and I'm amazed how quiet it is. Our previous wheel was loud enough to hear it in the other room. With this one I can't even tell if he's using it until I stand next to him. The only reason to complain is cleaning. It's not as easy as it was with Trixie wheel. However, there are not as many cracks in it's construction for poop to stuck.
