I had been researching small waffle makers and this one seemed to be highly recommended. I now understand why. Sooo easy to use right out of the box. I did use a basting brush and put a little cooking oil on it first (not supposed to use cooking spray) I like my waffles fully cooked thru so i turned the dial all the way to the right. It took barely any time to heat up (nice to have the ready indicator light). The first try i didn't use too much batter but learned that you do need to use enough to cover the 4 areas or they come out uneven in shape/size. I never had any issues with them burning at all, even on the highest setting. I will say that if you are looking for a thin, crispy waffle, this machine is probably not for you. These are a thick, softer style. The nonstick worked really well. Had no trouble whatsoever, with removing them. I made 5 waffles in not much time at all. Cooks well and evenly. Finally, the size is perfect for storing away and cleanup is a breeze (basically just wipe down with a damp cloth) All in all i would HIGHLY recommend this waffle maker.

Honestly this was as easy as it gets lol. The design is great because it’s small and doesn’t take up a ton of space. Cook time is minimal and lid closes just fine. I think I used mine on medium high heat and it took about 2 minutes

This product produces a legitimate Belgian waffle unlike some in this category that produce a thinner one. Reheat time seems reasonable, but of course plug it in before you prepare the mix so it's ready to go. Cleaning hasn't been an issue, just wipe it and you're done.The critical parts of making this work is twofold.1. Turn the temperature knob all the way to the maximum setting2. Pour after the ready light clicks on, and don't open the lid until it completely stops steaming (for a "well done" waffle, sooner for a medium one)It's hard to be critical at this price point but more wattage is always appreciated. This will make a well done waffle but it doesn't get hot enough to make one fully crispy outside without drying the insides a bit. Some kind of alarm would be great too, you just have to watch this one.

Makes a decent waffle

Used blueberry and strawberry muffin mix and the waffles came out fantastic. They were so good and my grandson loved them too. Works perfect, heats fast, and the waffle is ready in about 4 minutes. Probably a little longer if you want really crisp crust. I couldn't be happier with this product.

I had to adjust the temperature control to the highest setting to get even close to a golden, slightly crispy outside. Still took way longer to cook and not quite up to par. Still gave three stars for the cleaning and upright storage.

I really love this waffle iron . It does a great job and it really heats up very nicely.
