Works well with our LED kitchen lighting
Our builder's electrician fitted the incorrect type of dimmers to our kitchen lights - they were not designed for LEDs. Replacing them with these resolved the technical problem but not the annoyance with our rubbish builder!

The Dimmer for LEDs.
Does its job. This is a straight replacement for one with an issue, which was 3 years old. They are programmable, so you get good even dimming from full power to barely visible - as long as you use quality bulbs, cheap bulbs will always behave erratically. Programming them is awkward, you have to pay attention to the instructions supplied, and the programming sequence is sometimes activated accidently, which is annoying. Apart from that, they are the ultimate companion for dimmable LEDs.

Great when it works but very difficult to set-up
When I finally got it working it is superb in operation BUT in my case I had to have many, many attempts to change the mode to suit my LED lights and get them dimming as I required. The programming instructions are complex and the programming operation very sensitive to numbers of clicks and the time you allow between them to change the dimming range and dimming mode. It was incredibly frustrating and took me well over an hour to get it working right.I am now happy with the result but can't pretend it was anything other than tedious to get there.

Best and quietest dimmer switch I've used. Using with banks of LED downlighters, between 6 & 9 on each dimmer. No problems.

I would not recommend.
Difficult to program and did not work with my LED bulbs. Bulbs flickered when being dimmed and did not really dim very much.I would not recommend.

Replacement for leading edge dimmer in Scolmore Click Model wall plate
I bought this to replace a leading edge dimmer in a Scolmore Click Mode plate which was causing the LEDs on that circuit to flicker and cut out when turned down low.It doesn't dim quite as low as I was able to get it with the leading edge dimmer, but at the lowest setting there are no issues with the lights flickering on and off, which was the main reason for changing the dimming module, so I'm satisfied with the performance.
