French Grammar & Practice (Collins Easy Learning)

I am a ' newbie ' at a weekly French conversation class where everyone is competent. I have purchased a lot of French language resources to assist my learning and I have found this book to be really useful and illuminating. The exercises are superb , the conjugations and tenses are fully explained and the answers to all the lessons are included in the same volume.

Great and helpful

Some of the activities are a bit challenging for beginners. Clear explanations though.

Another great product from the Collins family. This book is a real tool for learning the French language. Its simplicity of presentation both of the index and of each chapter, make it easy to consult and study. There are dedicated sections for both the tutorial and the theoretical part. They make learning rapt and reliable. Strongly recommended for beginner and intermediate levels, as it shows basic structures but also presents some more advanced ones for the more willing and curious. Great value for money.

I don’t always remember to write reviews but have made a point to write one for this as I’ve been really impressed so far. I haven’t formally studied French since I was at school, which was many moons ago but I have been working through Duolingo. This book has been a great accompaniment to the online learning and within just a few days I’m picking up the grammar basics. I’ve got a long way to go but I would thoroughly recommend this book to anybody with a basic understanding. I chose this book over others as it has the testing yourself sections, which I’ve found very good indeed.

Arrived in good time and the contents er ideal for my needs. It has helped me a lot already. The style is clear and it has clarified bits of advice I have received from other sources. There are answers to the exercises at the end of the book. You can enter your answers in the book, but I usually prefer to leave the body of the book clear and rely on the ease of access to the answers near the end.

As advertised. Includes a good mixture of information and exercises.

Cette série de livre, est géniale...Dommage que nous n'ayons pas une série de livre de cet éditeur Français Anglais, pour l'apprentissage de la langue Anglaise tous niveaux...SI çà existe...je suis preneur... Des livres bien faits, et intelligents...bravo...Je recommande toute la série de l'éditeur...

This book is very good. However, it is not for beginners. It could be a supplementary book for practicing grammar and refining the concepts.

It explains everything in a detailed way. A quick way to grasp Grammer!

Thorough, clear, enough intermediate level grammar

It is a fine French grammar exercise book. For that, I give it an A+. However, the copy I received has a rancid cooking oil smell. I have never experienced this. So, I use it on my patio with the fan blowing. If you can find a copy that is odor free, buy it!
