HD PENTAX-D FA MACRO 100mm F2.8ED AW macro lens, dustproof, weather-resistant AW (All Weather) construction, black

Very sharp, 100mm don't need to be extremely close to get great shots, Did add the HD PENTAX-DA AF Rear Converter 1.4x for added closeup, perfect match. NOT a cheap pair but one that improved my photography skills, or just made my pictures much better!

Ich habe noch beide Objektive, also das smc Pentax DFA Makro 100mm und das neue HD Pentax DFA Makro 100mm. Somit konnte ich Vergleichsbilder machen. Die neue Version hat keine chromatischen Aberrationen mehr. Das war auch das Hauptziel von Ricoh/ Pentax und das haben sie echt top in den Griff bekommen!Zu den Daten muss ich nichts sagen, diese sind identisch zum Vorgänger.Also, ist das neue Objektiv eine Bereicherung/ Verbesserung zum Vorgänger? JA!Wie gesagt, CA's wurden beseitigt durch neue Gläser, ein Hauch schärfer ist es ebenso aber nur ein Hauch aber die Abbildungsleistung ist besser. Bessere Farbwiedergabe.Ich hänge 2 Fotos an, 1 ist die alte Version (smc) und 2 die neue Version (HD).Ich kann das Objektiv weiterempfehlen. Eben gerade durch die Beseitigung der CA's jetzt auch mega für Portrait und Lanschaft.

I originally ordered the lesser 100mm macro and returned it because the focusing distance was not close enought, (still waiting for refund after it was received back by Amazon 18 days ago). This lens is PERFECT. The focusing distance it around 9” as compared to 37” I think is what the other lens was. Spend the little extra and get this lens.. You will be happier….

Das neue Pentax HD DFA 2,8/100 ED AW Makro-Objektiv hat eine phantastische Abbildungsqualität sowohl am Vollformat mit der K-1 als auch am APS-C-Sensor der K-3 III. Gegenüber dem Vorgängermodell fällt auf, dass es auch unter kritischen Lichtsituationen keine farbigen Säume mehr gibt. Außerdem ist das Objektiv sehr kompakt, leicht und dennoch hochwertig verarbeitet. Die silberne Version sieht besonders cool aus. Das Objektiv sollte eigentlich in keiner Pentax-Fototasche fehlen.

The prior Pentax 100mm macro was phenomenal. This one improves on near perfection.It is now fully weather resistant, has faster focus, and has incredible detail. The above bee pictures on red clover illustrate the macro ability while the squirrel was shot from 20 yards away and is a 25% crop. Note the detail in the tail fur.Pentax is known for quality optics. For wildlife and nature photography the 100mm macro is a must, and serves triple duty as a portrait and general purpose telephoto.Most highly recommended.
