Almost does everything I wanted, but does everything I need.
Pros - I can now run ALL my AV kit from the one remote; no hunting for the others on the odd occasion I need them. - its actually easy to set up. - it looks and feels nicer than the Sky remote that I used to use. Its very similar to Panasonic ones. - the three programming modes give great flexibility: a) find the code for the device and enter it directly (I used for Panasonic TV, Sky+HD, Apple TV), b) search for the code (I had to use for Panasonic Blueray, and Panasonic sound bar), and c) learning mode to program individual buttons for devices (used for an unbranded HDMI switch, and for Sky/TV power - see below) Cons (minor) - the set up instructions are a bit complicated, but if you follow them to the letter, and make sure the light flashes when its supposed to, it works. - it doesnt seem to do sequences, so I cant turn my sound bar on and off with the TV and Sky box. I HAVE managed to do the same as the Sky remote and combine TV and Sky, by using the learning function to copy the Sky power button function which CAN be programmed to do both together, but cant combine the sound bar as well. So to power off I now have to press three buttons (big deal!). EDIT: This DOES allow macros, so it is possible to program three devices to power on and off with one button (I use for TV, Sky and soundbar). It's not in the documentation, but is listed in the FAQ on the All-For-One support website. I’m so happy, I bought another for SWMBO.

Note a bad universal remote
Now the obvious choice for a universal remote, the Logitech Elite, is off the market and the servers seem to be going off line, I found myself looking for a replacement. This is nice and cheap so I thought I’d give it a try. It does the basic job pretty well, the learning function is a bit fiddly to use, but the general usage is good, however all of these remotes, I also have their more expensive version, have some odd omissions, like no dedicated eject button - a pain with a multi-region Blu-ray, UHD and a CD player. It’s easy enough to repurpose of of the coloured buttons or whatever suits you, but you’d better be able to remember which one you used.

Works
I purchased a Logitech harmony to begin with, which was very good hardware wise, and a very nice remote to hold, really good use of materials. However the Logitech functions as activities, meaning that whenever I changed from watching TV to e.g. watching sky, or changing input to my htpc, the TV and receiver switched off and then on again. The physical remote did not have the functionality to just work as a simple universal remote. This one for all works very well as a simple universal remote, although the build is very basic, but very good for the price. Paired fine with all my devices, and keys are programmable. It's infrared only. With my Yamaha receiver, the power key does not work. The instruction book is very detailed. Very good for the price.

Does the job , learning feature works well
I've had similar multi platform remotes in the dim and distant past with limited success. However spotted the One for all product and thought I'd give the technology another go. It's worth reading the instructions carefully but after an hour or so I've now got my LG tv, Humax Freesat, Humax Freeview, Yamaha amp, Sony Bluray running well from one remote. If you find the odd button(aux 1-3 on my amp) or even a whole device (second Humax box on different remote channel) doesn't work correctly then the button learn feature is fabulous but follow the instructions carefully and point the original and One for all remotes fairly closely together. Overall - great piece of kit.

How complex is your system?
To begin with the text of the instructions is so small you need magnifying assistance to read them. The instructions are relatively simple to follow HOWEVER the results you get depend on the complexity of your setup. I have a 65" Samsung, a Sky Q box, a Sonos Playbar and Sonos Bridge,,. This is leaving out the DVD player and Roku units which I do not use much. It's very difficult to get the degree of control over the three main device which the Sky Q touch remote offers me ( my wife has entrapped that- hence the current exercise). Control over one of the three is possible but control over two or more has defeated my efforts. I've tried all three methods, 4-digit code, learning function, and Search but coordinated control has eluded me so far. p.s. After submitting this review the remote started doing what I was trying to set it up for. Not sure why. The story of the infinite number of monkeys using the infinite number of typewriters and the works of Shakespeare come to mind!

Successful farewell to a whole pile of remotes
At this price, I admittedly wasn't expecting too much (there are gadgets out there for 12 times this price...). However, it does what it says. Some of the units in my rack are either quite old (e.g. my amplifier) or too new and/or specific for them to have equipment code provided on the extensive list that comes with the remote. In these cases, programming the universal remote to learn the codes was very simple (but, of course, needs some patience and attention). Only a mental mapping of some of the keys to the more esoteric and equipment-specific features is needed and then one has to get used to one's own convention. Therefore, in my perhaps firmer than humble opinion based on facts, marking the remote down because somebody cannot find highly specific keys for equally specific features on particular AV equipment would not make sense. It is a *universal* remote, so it is quite unrealistic to imagine that it will have a dedicated key for something as obscure & specific like the time display modes on a recently made CD player... The only 4 star I gave was for the remote itself, mechanically speaking: the tactile feel and feedback is good, so far have not had the atrocious experience of some other remotes (like a cable TV company's diabolical remote) where squishy keys can drive one up the wall. However, the keys in some areas react to quite gentle presses - a slightly firmer 'click' feedback would have been better in my case, but this is of course highly subjective.
