The filters do what they’re supposed to do and if they cost a few quid each that’s fine by mean. Owning a hot tub does mean it’ll cost money obviously and the filter is part of that cost. People say you can blast them with a hose and scrub them but the folds in the filter are really tight together and surely blasting with a hose can just as easily push the dirt further into the filter. Maybe a rinse to extend the life a little is all I’d do again. I tried cleaning one and on second use it started to disintegrate so a hot tub of nice warm water and chemicals down the drain and the disappointment of not being able to use the tub. My advice is buy these and change the filter over for a new one when necessary. Worth the money.

Originals do what they’re supposed to. Fit perfectly. Filter the water. Got them at a good price. I don’t even bother to try and clean them anymore, it doesn’t prolong them, just get a good deal and replace as required. I have tried the sponge filters before, and although they do clean to be reused, they can not handle a shock treatment. Therefore these become top dog again. Eco friendly? Probably not, but it’s a hot tub, a power sucking, water wasting luxury.

Get always the original ones the are 3 times better than the others, after use in pure bleach rinse them and of u go again !Have used some for over a season and still going !Good Quality for the price tag !

If you have a SPA and want to keep it working effectively then changing your filters regularly is a must, they can also be rinsed/soaked and re-used.

If you have an Intex spa these are essential. I try to change the filter at least once a week to keep the water clean and pure. Leaving it longer can cause problems so these are an essential buy.

Recieved 12, really pleased with them, east to install and are original Intex S1 filters.
