If you are asking if it real wood. Yes. Is it real Palo Santo, probably. I say probably, because it was my first purchase of Palo Santo, it smells strong so I am guessing yes it is real also.

You have to burn them like sage. Let one stick catch on fire for a few seconds then blow it out, it will produce smoke. If you are done with the smudging or ceremony and have some of the stick left, put it out and save for the next time. Just remember fire is damaging and dangerous, so be careful and mindful when you use it.

Typically I use Palo Santo to smudge my home and myself. I put into a flame to start it burning. Then I let the flame go out and use the smoke to smudge.
