CRAFTMEMORE 1/8 Inch ID Grommets Eyelets 3MM Hole Self Backing Eyelet for Bead Cores, Clothes, Leather, Canvas 200pcs (Antique Brass)

I recently ordered these beads for my polymer clay beads because they were the smallest I could find. Now that I have used them I can tell you they work great are a great size to work with. In the above picture I placed these 3mm eyelets above the 3/16th eyelets also I bought earlier. it is clear to see how much smaller the 3mm eyelets are. I received my order as expected, which was fast considering it was in the middle of holiday shopping time. I also show a couple of beads I made with the eyelet insert. As the eyelet is placed in the bead hole, which I made with a small knitting needle, the clay comes up around the eyelet sleeve. I then use the small knitting needle to press the clay firmly around the eyelet sleeve and bake the clay. Once the beads are baked the eyelet is very firmly in the bead. The eyelets bake well and maintain their shape and color. They are really hot once baked in 275 toaster oven, so an oven mitt is needed when removing from the oven. I am going to purchase more of these 3mm eyelets because they provide a really nice finished look to the polymer clay beads I make. Great product!! I need more now (:

The antique brass color of these eyelets is beautiful, they complement any print cardstock I use. But the size is off a bit -- about a hair bigger than 1/8", at least based on my crop-a-dile hole punch/eyelet setter. I had to gently work the eyelet into the punched hole as it was too tight. It went in, but then setting it took a bit more effort as the setting on my tool is 1/8". So I ordered the 2mm eyelets to see if they're a better fit. Keeping my fingers crossed.

They are great to use for crafts.

These work great

This was super easy to use with my crop a dile on the c3 setting. I think they turned out perfect and I will buy them again for my projects. You don’t need the back ring like the other review said. You just need a told to flatten the eyelet. It works the way it’s supposed to.

Grommet outer diameter size is 3.5mm and not 3mm so they are slightly too big for my purposes
