Great product!
This chair is tall and fits perfect at my counter. The foot ring is not fixed and will not tighten up enough to step on , it is for propping/resting your feet only.

Footrest broke on assembly
The package came undamaged. Pulled all parts and pieces out of the box assembled the base and the cylinder. Put the footrest on, the entire reason I bought the chair, went to tighten the bolt in place, literally one turn and it broke off of the footrest. Can only assume the person welding the piece on needs some more training. Called the company and they are shipping me a new footrest. Hopefully, it gets here and I won't have the aggravation of calling them back. if you need this chair for anything quickly be aware a part might break as numerous comments state. The chair itself looks good, nice quality of material, just that darn nut/bolt!

Very comfortable chair
I am using this in my pottery studio to do glazing (I do a lot of intricate designs) and for carving and sgraiffito. The chair is very comfortable and adjustable. I am no longer stiff when I get up from sitting doing my work.

It works for the purpose
About this to go with my electronic height adjustable desk. So far so good it works but the piece that you are able to put your feet on it's not sturdy and it moves up and down no matter how much tighten it. You might benefit from putting some stay put glue on it LOL

Comfy chair but the foot rest slips causing scratches
Pros: The chair is comfy to sit in, though not for long periods of time. It's mostly well made for this price point. Good instructions and all the parts were nicely labeled.Cons: the adjustable foot rest is a problem. No matter how tight the knob is set, it slides down and has actually resulted in vertical scratches on the main support post. There is a special metal spot on the inside of the rubber insert for the adjustment screw (to prevent the screw going through the rubber).Even with it properly aligned, and fully tightened, you cannot put any pressure on the foot rest or it will slide down. It's more decorative than functional. Sadly, now that the sliding has caused the black paint on the post to be scratched off, it's not very decorative either.

Skip it.
Not bad, however the lack of adjustable back will be a problem for some. Far too many plastic parts - the adjustment knob for the foot ring stripped within an hour of assembly! No matter how tight I make that bolt, the foot ring wobbles and will drop.
