5 STARS FOR " The Carrie Wells Effect"!!!
MY EXPERIENCE:Book wh@re problem #273: That anxiety an erotica super reader gets when an unexpected new Jade West book lands on your Kindle, and you are already in the middle of a great book.#273 got me. I was unaware of the release of Dirty Daddies, as I would have never started said "other book", but I was already invested in it. And because I have a great respect for all authors, I simply couldn't allow myself to stop midway to read Dirty Daddies. But oh, how it tempted and taunted me!! It was so hard to concentrate, knowing my next book was calling my name...The struggle was very real. It required more patience than I normally have; it would have to be delayed gratification... It was.FINALLY..I jumped into this book completely blind, having no clue as to any portion of the plot, other than what I could obtain from the phenomenal cover.Blind, absolutely, but without expectations?? NO WAY! Very high expectations. It's almost like author Jade West sets the bar so high for herself by her previous work, I often wonder how she can match, or dare top herself. Was I dissatisfied? No way. Surprised? Hell yeah, I will admit it!Although I was " going in blind", not so much as having read the blurb, I had a couple of reservations, immediately. I was scared that I would be reading something too similar to other "daddy" books, and more specifically, too close to this author's past works "Sugar Daddies" and "Call Me Daddy". (Both favorites, btw)THE BOOK:I was wrong. Period. The only thing shared between Dirty Daddies and any other "daddy books" is that the subject is taboo. ( Younger, or barely legal girl in this case, falling for an older or much older man, or men, again, as in this read..)That's where the similarities end. In fact, Dirty Daddies is quite different from all of the author's previous works in general. Her vast imagination and her beautiful penmanship shine brightly in a distinctly different approach to this erotic novel. After reading over half of the book, I realized a few things other than my need for the ladies room, and the fact that evening had made way to night without me so much as looking up from this book. It suddenly dawned on me that there had not been one scene of sex. This is NOT indicative of other novels by this author. It is often her boundary pushing, open minded, shameless sex that propel her erotic books way past good or average. However, not as sex driven as her previous books, Dirty Daddies is a hot book , filled with a few quality well written sex romps that were very emotional and "dirty" at the same time, flowing nicely with the story. It seems in Dirty Daddies, West's usually expected, dependable, more insatiable sex driven plot has given way to a more sexually tame book. And in its place, a somewhat different, but equally satisfying novel for the "Queen of Kink." ( Now, this is comparative to West's other works.) Notice, I said *less* sexual; this tale is definitely sensual and provocative. But, given that our heroine turns 18 years old part way through the book, I believe this was appropriate..Within Dirty Daddies, I found the author put an incredible amount of time into the character development and execution, therefore creating a more plot, character, and emotionally driven novel, centered around our lovely heroine Carrie. She is a troubled, misunderstood eighteen year old foster child, passed her whole life from "family" to "family", none of which whom ever really gave Carrie a chance. She had spent her young eighteen years, having never been loved unconditionally, never with anyone she could trust, never disciplined because the love to do so was not there, and had been sexually and emotionally used by too many, and too many times to count.Having had a young life full of disappointment, Carrie had become a gypsy, an outcast, and a rebel. This is the story of Carrie finally finding self worth through the tough love of not one, but two great men.Dirty Daddies is simply a unique book, so incredibly well written, and the plot so thick with a unique wit that I am coming to love more and more in West's work. ( I felt as though I could see the crow incident. I could see the mess. I felt...there. HILARIOUS!!! )I also was super happy to read more of what I consider West's own "British-English" dialogue. I had really missed what I consider to be the author's "native tongue" in her last novel.THE SKINNY:Another 5 star worthy book to add to Ms. West'scatalog.Who is this book for?- Any West fan-Anyone who has thought West's prior books may have been a little too naughty, or have been timid to read, for whatever reason-Any true romance/erotica fan wanting a fresh, solid 5 star book, with more depth than sex.

Sexy
Goodness this one was naughty!! I knew going in that it would be steamy, and it did not disappoint. I never thought I would be into the whole Daddy thing. But this book just proved me wrong. I felt so sorry for Carrie several times during the book. And I loved how she made her one family. And they were able to show her not everyone leaves. The audiobook was really nicely done! This was just a sexy, fun read all around.

4 stars!!
Carrie Wells is a troubled and reckless teenager that has reached the end of her line with foster homes due to her behavior and the fact she is turning 18. With her stubbornness, Carrie is used to pushing people away in an attempt to protect herself from what she truly seeks. But now that she no longer has options, Carrie is determined to find a way to make a life even though she’s practically turned away everyone who cares.Michael Warren is a compassionate man in his forties who is a dedicated social worker and takes all his cases seriously. Having been assigned the file of Carrie Wells for the past five months, has proven to be a challenging task but he is invested her well-being as much as his position and morality will allow.Jack has been Michael’s best friend since they were kids and his straight forward approach to life is a balanced compliment to their friendship. Seeing Michael struggle with his job and with Carrie, he offers some much needed interference that helps bring everyone to an agreeable place. What ensues between Carrie, Michael and Jack is challenging, endearing and quite hot. With each character having their own struggles, this adds dimension to each character and to how the plot progresses. For Carrie, she has her truths to acknowledge but really doesn’t feel safe enough to do so until Mike and Jack provide the opportunity she’s never had. With Michael, he’s been unlucky in love but is a stand-up guy that truly believes in helping those who need extra from society. His empathy and need to act as a protector is admirable and adds to his sex appeal. Then there’s jack, who is dominant and not afraid to seek what he wants despite what society’s norms may be.As Michael and Jack can no longer deny their mutual attraction to Carrie, she is equally interested in both men in every way. Interestingly, Mike and Jack are not gay or bisexual but the union they feel with Carrie makes them view how they can share her in uniquely hot ways. As Mike feels conflicted about certain aspects of this threesome, Jack is his wing-man and assures him that what their bodies do is all for pleasure and to surrender to noble ideals. Mike’s pauses felt realistic and added to the chemistry between these characters because when it was on, it was combustible! With Jade West’s books, the plots are usually heavily character driven with filthy hot sex and Dirty Daddies is another golden example of the author’s narrative ability to craft a compelling story with characters that illicit different emotions from the reader. Told in multiple POVs, strengthens what each character brings and adds a tremendous amount of empathy as well. For me, I especially loved the dynamic between Michael and Jack because without having such a tender and respectful foundation, they couldn’t have had a polyamorous relationship with Carrie. As for the Daddy kink aspect, while it is an element of the plot, it has a lighter role than other traditionally themed Daddy kink books, but make no mistake, Daddy Michael and Daddy Jack are hot as hell! For those who are looking for some dirty, kinky fun with characters that will warm your heart (in addition to your lady bits), I highly recommend Dirty Daddies!

Age Gap Romance with Edge
This is an intense age gap story that follows Michael, Jack, & Carrie. Carrie is a foster girl who has never had anyone be in her corner until she meets Michael as her case manager. She wants him from the moment she laid eyes on him but she knows he’ll never see her as a woman until she turns 18! The age gap can be a bit much but the love and dedication these men have for is quite heartwarming and the growth she shows through their love is intense. As always with Jade West’s books they are spicy, hot and a bit naughty. You will enjoy watching this love story unfold. Happy Reading!!!

Good book
I enjoyed this book. The characters were great with a good plot and great spice. This was a bit of a slow-burn to start, but it built in tension and allowed you to get to know the characters.Everyone saw Carrie as a problem, but nobody knew why and what had happened until Jack and Mike took the time to understand her.I loved seeing Mike fighting with his emotions and moral judgment. He saw something in Carrie that nobody else did. I also loved seeing Jack getting to know her. When they both gave in, the spice was great. You could see the emotion and connection on the page.I loved how the story progressed and how it ended. They all had good character developments.Overall, I enjoyed this book and I would definitely recommend it.Jessreviews.co.uk

Slow burner at first but when it takes off it takes off, hot and steamy
MMF . Age gap. Total Daddy kink. (Not related) . Forbidden romance. Bi Inclusive representation. The book was a slow start at first but when it took off it took off. I read enjoyed it. ItsHot and Steamy. With all kinds of naughty temptations. You enjoy the slow start as the book has good plot, you're routing for the characters to give in and when they do it's so good. Also the older guys in the consensual relationship with the female lead are not in any way related. But your routing for Cassie troubled turned 18 no we're to go coming out of foster care who just needs the right people to help her and listen and love her and gives the time of day. Things haven't been easy and she just need to allow friend or to look after her right. Just when she thinks she has no one she end up with two. British mannerisms and humour I enjoyed and I got so invested in the characters.Potential triggers Cassie has been moved around from placement to placement in the foster care system that may be relatable for some of a trigger to others. She hadn't had it easy and has had do deal with being groomed as a young age.Positives Cassie later trusts enough to open up about this and you don't see much of the abuse in the book but your aware of it.Over all good positive filth with a very good plot. And BI inclusive. Ended happyOnly negative would loved the female lead to have more Growth and be able to fend for her self more so on her own too feet with her own money. She will always need looking after by Jack and Michael just putting a baby in her at the end just feels like she's tied to them now. You like you wanted that for them you did but it would have been cool if we saw Cassie have more independence and growth as a character. But the point the writer is getting at I suppose is she spent all her child good fending for her self it was okay in the end to give in and slow people who love her to care for her.

On the fence
I'm just a little on the fence with this book- don't get me wrong I love Jade West books as they are just so gripping, but I struggled a bit with this one.I think for me I just didn't like Carrie at all, and as she's one of the main characters this is probably what lead me to not enjoying it as much as I usually would. However that is only my opinion of the character and if other people like her then they'll probably enjoy the book.I think I've been spoilt by sugar daddies (by the same author)- now that was a fantastic book and definitely on my re-read pile.

Very hot
Carrie is a very interesting character, had me feeling one way about her to then do a complete 360. I absolutely love how spunky and free she is.Everything seems to happen at just the right time. Michael & Jack although best friends they are so different. Just what she needed to curb her wild side.Eli/Kevin wtf was that. Creepy dude man.Kinda hoping her old family find out the truth so she could maybe have some of that family structureI 'certainly enjoyed the ride' thank you Jade

Lighthearted and steamy
Although I always enjoy Jade West's books (without fail, even those I'm not fangirling over), Dirty Daddies didn't quite tick all of my boxes. The sex scenes were steamy (although slightly less Daddyish than expected from the title) but didn't materialise until over 50% through, and sadly the characters just weren't as developed as West's other releases. I found Carrie frustrating and bratty — intentionally so, yes, but she never really grew on me despite her development, which I also found too rapid.Despite dealing with a subject that could be quite serious, this was a light-hearted, sexy read that could have done with more character development all around to really make it stand out with the best of Jade's work.
