Q: Can these be worn for yard work?

They should be great for that especially if you have allergies. They sit snug on your face and do a solid job and protecting all the way around similar to science goggles. I use them for airsoft and tested by rapid firing 100 rounds point blank at them. Didn't even leave a scratch. Also, slammed a pair on the concrete. They held up good!

Q: Will these provide some protection from a wind while outdoors? I have dry eyes.

Absolutely yes. When I wear them to mow or use a chainsaw, nothing gets to my eyes. Used them to ride a 4 wheeler and they worked great. They form a good seal to the face.

Q: Can these be used for automotive painting

I would not recommend it as they do not seal well.
