Love it!
Love it. Beautiful product. Make really good cup of coffee. Better than any other metal filters I have tried. Make a nice bold body cup of pour over. Coffee grind between V60 and Chemex. Less sediment than french press. Highly recommend. Great addition to your coffee gears.

Love this- full package looks and functionality
All around awesome product. Ascetically pleasing, and makes wonderful pour over coffee. I prefer it to the chemex, I think the lack of paper filter improves taste. I saw a lot of reviews complain about it being delicate but I disagree if you are used to having nice things it's not that fragile.

Excited about the possibilities of the metal filter. However ...
Excited about the possibilities of the metal filter. However, I've had the Kinto set for two weeks now and still haven't found the ideal grind setting. Might help if some instructions for brewing ratios were included. Also hope others will post helpful info if/when they discover how to use it well.

kaffee ganz einfach
einfacher schöner müllsparender und schicken lässt sich kaffee kaum kochen. keine nervigen papierfilter und nur 2 teile die nach dem kaffee genuss kurz ausgespült werden müssen.

have fun both making coffee and drink? then get one. Just have fun only drinking? then go fully automatic.
I use it with polex hand mill, about 10-12 adjustment notch made my preferable coffee.Stainless filter is a bit different pouring technique of hot water is needed, it is different frompaper filter, such techniques are introduced in many web sites, so please search on web for itand try and find your favorite one. This filter is similar to makineta's inner filter rather than paper filter so that more pasty(gravy? or very thick)coffee part will be dripped if you pour a lot of water with fine grinding beans. that's why bettergrind beans coarsely and don't use beans until very last of drip.I normally use 10 g of beans and 150ml of 80deg C water for 1 person, but for this carafe and filter, better make minimum 2 people of coffee, means use 20g of beans at least. If you use 10g only, there's too small area where you need to pour hot water into,If you pour water on filter directly (not on coffee bean) then water just straight through the filter and thin yourcoffee unexpectedly so better have some amount of ground beans rise up from the bottom of the filter so thatyou can easily pour water on to coffee beans. This Carefe is of course made of glass, but the filter stand which can be used for bean measure ( 1 mark approx 20g), ismade of plastic. I worried about shipping protection, this might be broken at the time of delivery but, it hasquite good protection and no need to worry about. unless it's really handled roughly or badly, the protection willhelp to make it deliver to you without any concern.Again, I use to use makineta, that's kinda easy, just put water and ground coffee powder and put on stove and just wait butthis one is very much experimental. If you want stable taste coffee all the time, better go fully automatic dripper. This one will give you a lot of opportunity to find that really a lot of things will affect on taste of coffee, will definitelyexpand your coffee world and deepen your experience and will finally your ultimate favorite coffee bean and the way making coffee will be found.
