Absolutely beautiful
I am a professional artist , and Iv only been using Bockingford paper 300gsm for years . I recently switched to derwent watercolor A2 as this was the only brand availin the size I wanted . I am so pleased with the quality of this paper . It takes my pencils graphite and charcoal so well. Very easy to work with and the price point … is on point .I 100% recommend this for all artists .

Good quality!
I am having drawing classes, we are using the watercolor pencils. And I am looking for the right paper for a long time. It’s perfect for watercolor pencils. The surface is smooth which allows me to draw in details. And it absorbs water well. Highly recommended!

Smooth water colour paper 👍🏻
I bought this water colour paper to practice different water colour techniques 🏞Perfect for light translucent colours, smooth paper, would recommend for beginners and professionals, good value for the money 👍🏻

Pricy but worth the money
I'll start this off by saying I've not got much recent experience with watercolour, last time I tried it was when I was about 6 and my mother gave me a set to do landscapes. That aside I've finished one piece completely, and have a half finished piece to complete, I found the texture of the paper did grip my pencils a bit more when drawing the line work.but once I started using watercolours the paper held up incredibly well, I saw no bubbling of the paper no curling of the edges. And the colour bonded really well making it easy to attempt shading.I've supplied a picture of the piece I worked on just to show how well the paper held up as at time even I thought I'd used too much water.

Great of photo realistic portraits
I have tried various watercolour papers but found them all too textured for my work. The Derwent paper is perfectly smooth but still takes the pencil colour well.Since switching to this paper my large photorealistic portraits are more photorealistic as I'm able to achieve very fine detail. If you use water-soluble pencils, I highly recommend you try this paper.

Good quality. Very smooth. Lovely for pencil or ink work.
Good quality smooth watercolour paper. Great for detailed work. Would stretch it first if using a lot of water.

Bought again
This is the second time I have bought this pad. I really like the paper as it isn't too absorbant and takes pen and pencil very nicely.

Wow.....great for their pencils
This is very nice paper. I normally prefer a cold press and this is very smooth. However using the Derwent graphitint, intense and watercolor pencils on it, the mark lines just melt away. Very nice!!

Good paper
I bought this to try out when it was being offered at almost half the price. Very good. Not astounding. I think it's overpriced on here

Alta calidad
