British tea is made by a process unique to this nation called TMC, Tear, Macerate and Crush. Whilst elsewhere in the world the tea leaves are merely torn into small pieces, with TMC the leaves are torn, then put in the equivalent of a food processor, and then put through an industrial mangle.This TMC process extracts the maximum flavour and colour, but at the cost of bitterness and a tendency to "stew" when left too long in the pot. Its maximum "bang for your buck", but the bang is at the expense of taste.Yellow Label is made the continental way, giving only a light colour and a delicate taste. If you like "builders tea" you'll be disappointed, but if its delicate flavour you value, you'll love this tea.

Really nice tea, we prefer this to any of the normal sold in supermarkets
