Have Patience!
It was an adventure to put together, but once I figured out the picture-only directions, assembly went well. The connectors are very small and come apart with some stress so we are continually pushing them back together, even with the cable ties wrapped around them! The hammocks that I bought additionally can't be hung because they require being attached to the ceiling, or a 4th place, so we can't use themWinston is very comfortable in there, as there are different places to curl up and snooze, and food bowls and a litter box fit in there.

Great for momma/babies. Then Mom’s place until she gets spayed!
The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately!!!! The ladder was missing from box! They couldn’t just send the ladder and we couldn’t wait to send this back and wait for them to replace it! No discount for missing piece either.

Good quality for the price
The catio is of good quality for the price. Know though, since you are getting a bargain it's not going to be the best piece of equipment for your cats that exists in the world. With that being said, it is sturdy and will withstand the jumping and moving around of cats.Do make sure to follow the directions though. They provide a lot of zip ties. I highly recommend using as many as you can. I used one around every piece that connected to another piece. It was a bit time consuming but not too bad. Overall, my wife and I were able to assemble it in under 90 minutes. The directions are a little screwy to follow but there is a link to a video that is easier to follow. The link doesn't take you directly to the product you purchased though. It takes you to the page of all their Catios and you have to scroll through to find yours. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. There are 4 adjustable doors that you can place within the catio to fit your needs. We positioned one of the doors of the catio to open at window height over our deck.We have 3 cats and all 3 positively adore this access to the outside. We feel completely secure leaving the window open so they can use it at their pleasure. We do not leave it open overnight however as we are not comfortable doing that.

Don't do it!
I purchased this thinking the situation could be easily rectified with the rusting issue by spraying the pieces. All well and good, but it takes a long time AND if you don't have it scored correctly it will chip off anyway. Plus the clips DO NOT like the added paint.I purchased 3 to make the size we wanted but I am returning 2. The only reason I am keeping the one is that when we first sprayed we decided to be creative and did some other colors so it is not what the original looked like. My loss but we will repurpose for something.IF you decide to try this anyway, I will say having the additional hammer and zip ties was very helpful. However, this is not easy to get together. Someone with dexterity issues or not enough strength will need assistance beyond the hammer. Also be prepared with the clips. While this set up does allow for a variety of designs, not all designs will work with the provided clips. This was a waste of time and energy.

Cat cage
Our cats love being able to be out doors in the sunshine. This cage keeps them safe. It was easy ti essmble and is sturdy enough for two cats to play in. Great price.

Basic, functional, painful, wasteful
Calling this product a "cage" is extremely generous, like selling a bag of groceries as a pizza. This is a collection of generic assembly pieces and a poorly written set of instructions. Once you spend an inordinate amount of time snapping all of the pieces together, you end up with what is technically a cage. It is more spacious than most cages that we've used over the years. I'm 6' tall and can squeeze inside through the front with just a bit of banging and shaking to crouch down inside. In order to get to said spacious cage, there's some work to be done first. Do you enjoy zip-ties? Do you like generating plastic waste? Does the idea of spending hours assembling something that you could have just unfolded in a couple of minutes? Are you offended by quality instructions? If any of these apply, you are in for a treat. There are two packs of 150 zip-ties included, although the second pack is a spare for people masochistic enough to want to build this thing twice, so they actually only expect you to secure 150 zip ties all over this contraption to keep it from coming apart. You need them because the wires pop out of the slots on the connectors pretty easily when tension starts getting applied to other sections of the cage. The connectors come in plastic bags of four connectors each, and there are a few dozen connectors. Bring a knife to speed up the creation of your own large pile of plastic bag trash as the bags are difficult to pull apart. The connectors have enough slots to form any desired configuration that uses 90 degree angles. When a panel wire is pulled tightly into most of the slots, there is a distinctive point of friction that gives it a click and usually holds it, although zip tying was definitely needed on mine to keep it from falling apart. As I noted above, this is a parts kit. You have to connect every single individual panel on every corner to several other panels. Sometimes this is fairly easy and sometimes panels come raining down. Plan ahead as best you can and may the gods help you if a corner skips out of a lower level as you are connecting the higher ones because getting it back in at that point is a fun way of doubling-down on the finger soreness. The instruction sheet included has confusing diagrams and doesn't even mention how the included clips are supposed to be used, although it's not hard to figure out. There is a QR code which may link to something more useful, or a virus; I didn't find out. The angles on the included sheet look weird and I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the placement of these eight "metal frame" pieces that are included. Note that it's just two parallel stacks of four running perpendicular from the center of one of the walls.Speaking of "metal frame" pieces, I had one snap clean in half when I tapped in a connector. I stopped using the mallet and stuck to using pliers to squeeze the frame pieces together at the connectors, which worked easier and mitigated the risk. Once zip ties started going on, I found that there was enough tension in some areas to snap zip ties in other places when I clamped the wires in, but once enough of them had been clamped in and zip tied, the tension seemed to even out and it was no longer an issue.I like that they included an actual soft face mallet and was happy to add the little guy to my toolbag in lieu of the larger one I already had, but I don't recommend using it on this assembly due to the weak wire. I did use it a few times to knock connectors loose when I had to go back and reinsert corners that slipped out, so you might want to zip tie as you go and avoid that. The "doors" are just wire panels with cropped corners and a rod welded to one edge. There are wire clips included that allow you to clip the edge of the door to the wire of the cage so that they can be unclipped and opened. It's sloppy and probably wouldn't hold up against a cat determined to escape, but it works enough for us since the cat we're using it to treat is mellow enough. For the "front door", you can zip tie the door panels together or connect them with the clips to open the three panels as a single door. We found that we preferred being able to open them selectively and so clip each to the cage individually. The door ends up an insecure mess while I pass through, so an aggressive cat would easily blitz through but our cat hasn't tried yet.Overall, the completely assembled product does fit the criteria of a cage and has a useful enough layout that I'm sticking with it for now. However, I strongly regret this purchase and am rather angry at myself for not paying better attention to what it really is. I do not recommend this product to anyone else. Just get a cage that is already assembled, uses full size wall panels, and has actual doors. Instead of spending a couple of very annoying hours forming a mediocre cage, you can unfold a decent one in minutes, possibly at less cost.

Great Catio!!
Absolutely LOVE this catio! It was easy to assemble and the fact that you can configure it to work the way you need is great. In fact, we loved it so much, our kitties are getting an upgrade, as we’re ordering a second one to make their original one larger.Yes, you have to use the zip ties. They are necessary to keep it together long term and sturdy. We have had ours outside, in a desert area, and have had zero issues. Currently it’s being used for a mama ‘community’ cat who adopted us, and her four kittens that are now 9 weeks old. We have it attached to a cat/dog door and it’s worked beautifully!
