Review: Absolutely brilliant product - Simply titanium and well designed and made product. We've bought it after my wife's brother using the smaller model of this Snow Peak for over a year on his life-trip across South America. He is in fact using it just now. We are in fact using it more indoors than outdoors, as we find it quite useful to boil water in it, as it gets wormer faster than when using the regular pot. The handles (even though there is no apparent insulation) are getting hot only at the bottom and it actually takes one grip for it to cool down, so you may hold it in hand. Of course it depends on how big fire you use to put it on. It is very light - we actually though that the package came in empty, when we're received it. It is very easy to clean and has a scale engraved on the side, and it weights nothing. The only downside of this product is using the pan as lid, as it might get a bit wobbly to stay on top, especially when outdoors where the surface is not very flat and it might get windy. To remedy it make sure you align it so it stays on top of the pot handle - it kind of blocks it, so it doesn't slide off. I don't quite get the complains about no additional lid for the pot, so you may use the pot and the pan at the same time - well think how often you did such trick when being outdoors. I don't recall using two fires at the same time when being outside. We've ordered it via desertcart from Weg Store and even though it was shipped from Japan it came pretty quickly well packed... wrapped in Japanese newspapers :) Very robust product - well worth it's price.
Review: Probably the best mug I have ever bought - I have only used it at home so far, instead of the normal ceramic mugs I always end up chipping and breaking, and it's perfect. I read the discussions about single wall vs double wall titanium mugs and was worried that boiling tea might cool down too quickly. Not a chance. Straight from the kettle and into this mug, it is still piping hot 35mn later with the lid on, and still very hot 20mn later without the lid. Perhaps liquids cool down faster when camping in cold temperatures or when the mug is only half filled, but at room temperature this mug keeps liquids hot longer than an ordinary ceramic mug. And since it's single walled you can even cook in it when camping. Light, elegant, impervious to rust, volume measures etched inside and excellent at keeping liquids hot. It's brilliant.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Could i fit an msr pocket rocket in it with a 100 or 110 fuel canister? i know snowpeak make a stone to fit but it's double the price**
A: Not quite! I have the same combo but the original Pocket Rocket will not fit horizontally into the SP700 and with a small gas canister sitting snugly in the bottom of the pot the PR will protrude above the top when you place it in at an angle. There is now a Pocket Rocket 2, a more compact version of the original PR, available for about $45 which I suspect would fit horizontally within the SP700 neatly above a gas can (but I don't know this for sure).

**Q: Is the spork included?**
A: no

**Q: Is the lid detachable? Or permanently fixed to the pot?**
A: Detachable.

**Q: I read the reviews here and on the Us site, but no one mentions whether this nests with the 32oz Nalgene bottles ? Does anyone know?**
A: "32oz Nalgene bottles" I'll be in the "Snow Peak (snow peak) titanium Trek 900 SCS-008T"?"Snow Peak (snow peak) titanium Trek 700 SCS-005T" I can be stored in the "Snow Peak (snow peak) titanium Trek 900 SCS-008T".

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Probably the best mug I have ever bought

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent, but ….
*by S***A on 30 June 2023*

Brilliant titanium cooking pot and frying pan. Lightweight, sturdy, brilliant. But: net bag it comes in is too small and the opening stupidly tight so getting it in and out is too time consuming. Changed this bag. Lid/frying pan does dot ‘click’ on the main pan so it is always coming off when trying to pack. Does not detract from the main purpose - cooking food - but it is frustrating. Solved with 2x Velcro straps. Highly recommend Snow Peak cooking gear. 5*.
