I break at least one of these every time I go out to shoot. They are ok if you don't miss; but they take one or two impacts against wooden backstops before fracturing or full on snapping at the midshaft or immediately after the fletchings.

Viking Historical Reenactor,I use these arrows (as well as some I picked up 2 years ago with the brown turkey feathers) as my practice arrows for my #55 "Hedeby Bow" (a Danish/Viking style bow) and they work fine. Durable enough to last if I do my part. They will finally wear out though but most self-nocked wood arrows break on you eventually. At the price it don't sting bad when you lose one.Speaking of losing one - in winter 2020 I overshot an arrow at the public range. June 2021 the arrow was found by another archer that practiced at the range and we became friends. In between rounds she came up to me and said, "Hey, you shoot these wood arrows? I think this is the one you lost in December." and it was. It looked OK and I'm still shooting that arrow that sat in the grass through a small flood, record breaking ice and snow, and the weekend before it was found 118 degree heat.
