I bought these to make swapping from kidde to first alert easy. They worked like a charm. My only complaint is they should have various packaging. I only needed 5 but have to buy 12.

Easy converters (make sure you order the correct ones, as there are two different black connectors)

This sure makes the retrofit easy
The product is so easy to install. It is well worth the money, but like everyone else's review, it would be nice to buy a smaller package of these. I needed 3 and I had to buy 12. Either way it is good value but a little bit wasteful in my opinion.
