Brilliant. 2 for a fantastic price. works a treat if you are clumsy on guitar sometimes. Deadens unwanted string notes/noise. don't gig without one...… or 2

I bought these to help dampen excess string vibration from my guitar. I play 7 & 6 sting guitars and this pack came in a large and small size.Overall, they fit onto my guitar and do provide some dampening but I have found they bend in the middle as I tightened them causing the middle stings not to get dampened. I have to then loosen it off with in turn removes the dampening on the outer stings. Could do with a bit of support on this part.If you need these to dampen then they will do the job. No the best but ok.

Cheap and not so cheerful. This item is advertised as suitable for anything up to 10 strings. I have a 7 string bass and the largest of these dampeners won't cover the fretboard. The actual muting is fairly average too, but it's ok for mildly muting open strings on a 4 string bass or a 6 string guitar. Beyond that, no.My solution has been to use both supplied dampeners on my 7 string bass, but it is not ideal.

As other people mentioned, it's not filled in the middle so it does not support the middle strings. only the outer strings are dampened.

This is useless, the foam inside the wrapp does not go to the center so only affect the low and high strings. Just get something else.
