In my opinion, it's probably the best watch ever.
I bought this after the wristband of the exact same watch I bought 14 years ago finally broke; the battery of that watch lasted 13 years of normal usage for the record. I basically wore it at all times and never took it off; to bed and shower. It is definitely waterproof and can survive years of wear. 14 years ago I bought this watch for £25; this new one I bought for £41.59 and I'd still say it is worth every penny. it has all the functions I need (time, timezones, 4 world clocks you can set, lights to see at night) and functions that are handy but I basically never use (stopwatch, timer, alarms), there is a small world map to show the time zone and a digital analogue version of the clock if you want to see the position of the clock hands. The wristband is also made of stainless steel which I really love (it's rather hard to find digital watches at a lower price with metal wristbands it seems), albeit it was extremely hard to get the links out of this one to adjust the size; that is my only criticism for this watch.

Awesome value for a quality timepiece!
This watch is fantastic value for money, it's very well made and feels robust, and has all the features you need. It has a nice clear display and the resolution of the digital representation of the analogue dial is tremendous, the world map is nice and crisp too. The watch is quite large (in wrist surface 'area' and in depth) but not too imposing, and it comes with a nice long strap of which the links can easily be removed (without being taken to a specialist as one other review has noted). It took me about 5 minutes to take out 4 links to make it fit my wrist, all that is needed is a pin/paperclip or similar to push out the links. I think the watch would be too big for a child/teenager, because as someone in their late 20's it feels just right on my wrist, any bigger and I wouldn't be comfortable wearing it. The LED light is OK but not brilliant. Taste is subjective, but I think Casio have made a modern/retro watch that is kind of cool in its own right. For the money I'd highly recommend getting one!

Cracking value
This is unbeatable value for a rugged watch for the week end. I am always working on the house, garden etc at the week end and previous expensive watches seem to end up stopping or the bracelet breaks. This Casio £20 job tells the time, date, day and has myriad other functions too small to read. But if you can be bothered to work them out there are loads of extra odds and sods. [e.g. stop watch, World Location, weather in Cumbria, time on Mars, etc etc.]Easy to adjust bracelet which could teach Breitling a trick or two and way you go. If you need a cheap, waterproof week end time piece I recommend it highly.Four **** because I can't read some of the displays. Time and date - great!

Typical Casio quality & value.
Love the watch, typical Casio quality & very good value for money. Plenty of features to keep you happy & a nice stylish design which comes with a 10 year battery life. Looks good on the wrist & its display is easy to read. The supplied manual is small print so recommend downloading a pdf copy from Casio' s official site. The bracelet is quite nice but can be a pain to adjust. It is necassary to search the web for instructions on how to remove links if the bracelet is too large as the user manual does not cover this procedure. There are many YouTube videos on how to adjust various watch bracelets just make sure the video relates exactly to the bracelet fitted to this Casio watch. Typical of this type of watch is the illumination, on this watch it is adequate, no more. Recommended.

Decent value
Can pull on the hairs of your wrist a bit. Loads of attempts to separate links on this, not easy but it is somehow possible. If it weren’t for the two points above this would be a four or five star review

to 10 year battery life LCD's have been reliable and have a good long life
All Casio watches i've had over the last 30 years from LED ! to 10 year battery life LCD's have been reliable and have a good long life. This watch is to replace the last Casio i bought 10 years ago, which like this one had a 10 year battery life, which has just run out.I could have replaced the battery but the watch has been worn for Sports,DIY and Gardening and has taken a hammering,so hence the new one. For £25 you can't go wrong with a watch like this, especially as i've already mentioned the battery will plod on for 10 years. The bracelet/strap is easy to adjust,i just looked it up on youtube and it took me about 10 minutes to do. Plenty of functions to keep all of us happy. It has a rather large face, which i was a little unsure of before i bought it,but it's not too bad and like most things, you end up getting use to it after a few days.Summary - Great little watch(well biggish) for not alot of cash

Good watch + bargain price +good quality + Over a year use so far = happy customer
Always been a Casio fan and needed a cheap watch for the gym, playing sports and everyday use. I am writing this review after using the watch everyday for over a year. Picked the watch for under £20 so it was a bargain. All I do is rinse it after being in the pool or after gym and wipe it with my towel. No corrosion notProsBig buttonsWaterproof (everyday use)Clear displayDescent presentable watchQuality goodHas DST so automatically adjust then clock goes front and back (UK use)Good battery life - Still the originalConsVery light in weight (this may be a pro for others but I like a watch with a big of weight)The display light is very dim and not worth usingOverallThe watch doesn't disappoint. You wont regret it giving it as a gift to your children or grandchildren or using it for everyday use

Disappointed
Watch face is low grade (plastic I guess) and very easily scratched, so back to my old watch. Also note strap size adjustment very difficult without specific tools.
