I have been dying my hair since I was 15 years old. I've tried many products and been to many different salons up and down the east coast. And I have never walked out feeling completely satisfied with the time and money I spent to do my hair. Even doing it myself I've ran into many products that just use so much harmful chemicals and smell terrible and basically wash off by my 3rd wash. I have never even had a vibrant look regardless of the color I'd choose because my hair is stubborn, doesn't hold in color, and definitely doesn't like the chemicals. Just wind up with dry, damaged, bland hair. I'd also like to mention that I have very curly 3B hair, and it pretty much has no water retention, and always looks dry and frizzy regardless of the amount of heatless and healthy hair products I've used. I've invested thousands of dollars in my hair to achieve the look I want while keeping my hair alive through it all. But when I tell you this is the first time ever using a hair dye that has left my hair silky smooth, healthier than it was before, and it looked more vibrant and beautiful than I expected. I was so afraid this was going to be another product that I threw money away for. But I promise you this is going to be my forever brand. The process of leaving it in my hair I noticed it was very oily, and when I washed it out it sudded up just like shampoo, I conditioned it and dryed it with a hair towel and not a single stain on my bathtub or towels. I styled it as usual with my normal products from brands like carols daughter and was to my surprise, left with the most beautifully vibrant and soft curls. Long story short, it's an inexpensive semi permanent hair dye that works better than a permanent hair dye, it doesnt cause any dryness or damage, and I have enough left in my bottle to dye my hair again. I see nothing but a big Win with this brand and I will be coming back for more. It smells like berries and it is so easy to apply. Just follow the instructions. Clean dry hair, no conditioner, seperate the hair into 4 sections, i suggest brushing your hair before applying the dye if you have similar hair textures as I do. Brush or comb in the dye so you can really work it into the hair. And let it sit 45 mins. Wash it out, condition it, style as normal. There was no color difference of the product from the pictures on amazon vs the bottle in real life and there were no color differences of when it was aplied to my hair vs washed out. Give it a try. Its inexpensive, a healthy alternative to hair dye and overall a great product. I garuntee that I will be buying this product again and trying many different colors with my new hair journey development.

Color wasn't bright like the picture or name color (fire engine bright red) It's a darker red but still nice color though.

I've kept my hair purple for years now. It's just my color and people joke that it should have been my natural color. They're right. It should have. I have medium brown hair. I do not bleach it but rather have built and maintain a level of saturation to the color I desire. I haven't done a full dye in years. I just apply a mix of dye with conditioner to maintain my desired saturation every 3 to 4 washes and I typically wash every 3rd day. So every 3rd week or so I just refresh my color. Ive tried several brands now, and this was a recent one I thought I'd attempt. I love that it's a pump bottle. For me with the way I do my hair, this is so much easier when I'm in the shower. It smells very pleasant without being too much, and the color actually transfers less than most anything else I use. It's easy to get off if I happen to get any on my skin, and it looks great. It's doing the same job as dyes 2 and 3 times this price. Absolutely recommend!

A SCAM !!!! this product is NOT temporary AT ALL. it stained my hair and no matter how many times i washed it it wouldn’t come off, i had to bleach my hair in order to get it off. do not buy unless you want permanent colored hair

I have long dark hair, and bought two bottles because that is normally what I have to do. I did lighten my hair, but in two months only needed half of one of the bottles. It held without fading like a lot of hair dyes do. I would 1000× (and often do) recommend if you want a vibrant color that lasts.

I couldn’t find a wig for my Cyndi lauper costume so I bought the yellow & red to DIY. I have what is classified as dark blonde hair but that most people would describe as light brown. The yellow absolutely would not take except on the two bleached pieces in the front of my hair so that was a bust. The red took but was more of a magenta color not true red. Also, the color WILL NOT wash out. It has been three weeks and it’s just now starting to fade to pink-ish. This product stains EVERYTHING it touches and doesn’t wash out or off easily. Stains your scalp so you have to scrub and scrub to get that off. Think twice before using, this isn’t for everyone.

I love voodoo vegan hair color. I have used several colors and they all work great. They smell amazing, don't burn or harm your scalp, the color lasts and they wash out with time. Best part for me was that my shower remained unstained and my hands were able to be washed with soap and no color left over. I recommend this brand for healthy vegan hair color anyway!
