Great quality and detail
These were cute and detailed. They were anatomically correct, but proportions between pieces were not perfect (the heart was much larger proportionally if that makes any difference to your purchase). I made these into magnets.

A literal mixed bag
I got this set of plastic organs for my wife, who is a medical writer, as a gag gift. Her specialty is digestive systems, so the stomach, kidney, liver, and small and large intestines are of particular interest. Some of these organs are color-coded, like the kidney and liver, while others are just one large mass of plastic. They're also not in proportion to each other -- the heart is bigger than the brain! They come in a plastic bag, hardly a giftable presentation.Overall, this is a literal mixed bag of organs. Since they they don't interact with each other in any way, they're sort of a mess of random guts more appropriate for a zombie than an anatomical model. And because they're not proportionally sized, there's not ideal for education either.Fun as a gag gift but not much else.

Great to Teach With
The model organs are well made and sturdy enough to survive a toddler and child throwing them around with their other toys. They are also pretty detailed, with the liver having the gallbladder on the back of the mold painted green and roughly matching the hepatic vein and artery. The Kidneys are also nicely sculpted and have both the aorta and the inferior vena cava color-coded as red and blue, respectfully, and also shows the renal vain and arteries color-coded the same and show the bifurcation point where the aorta and inferior vena cave transition to the femoral veins and arteries. The lungs are molded where you can see each lobe and the entire trachea, and I accurately depict where the heart lies between both lungs. The pieces are all nicely sculpted, but they do not fit into each other or attach in any way. These are great if they are used to help go over basic anatomy with a young child or used as toys.

BRRRAAAINS . . . And Other Organs
This is a nice little set of most of the human upper body organs. They are too small for my college classroom or lecture use, but are quite suitable for home schooling, individual study, or a small anatomy project. They are quite accurate in shape and dimensions. Coloring is pretty good for such a small size, with some nice touches like separately colored renal artery and vein and gall bladder. Note that each of these is roughly the same size, so that means they are not to scale — the heart is as big as both lungs, for example. There’s nothing wrong with that, and it makes sense from a product standpoint, but just be aware that the sizes will not all match! If the smaller scale of this set meets your needs, this is a great little collection for the price and as a biologist I recommend it.

Fun for tactile study
We homeschool and love to encourage our children to dig in with their hands when possible. My younger ones especially love to learn the same thing as their older siblings. This product not only a fit our desires for our homeschool resources, but the desires of our younger ones. Our two squeamish preteens were slightly grossed out by the realistic look of the body parts, but definitely understood some concepts better after taking a close look at them. Our younger ones (3 & 6) were amazed to see what their inside parts look like and enjoyed trying to figure out how they would fit together in the body.Since the models are so small, they are not suitable for detailed study. With a magnifying glass, there can be a small amount of detailed study.

kinda fun to layout for company
These are apart of are halloween collection of things to make people on edge. The wife wanted them to put out on the holiday table where we display all her holiday stuff.Im not a Biology major or anything special but they look pretty accurate if only small. kinda like someone removed the vital organs from a poor barbie doll.she is happy with them and loves them and enjoyed arranging them around the table as if she was building a human from spare parts.plastic is firm and isn't falling apart the paint is also in the plastic so it doesn't seam to wear off or anything dignifying lower quality. super happy with this. very educational as well when you can teach your kid what their organs look like without it getting gross or overly detailed lol

Seems incomplete
The “organs” are very detailed and well made. They’re sort of rubbery and quality made. I wish there was more included though. A matching-board or a puzzle kind of board would be nice and more educational. There is nothing that would tell a child what each organ is.

Good for kids
-First off the detail is nicely done, I like that you can hook the large and small intestines together-I wish they were a little larger in size, I feel like they have the opportunity to get lost during homeschooling-For the price though, you can't go wrong-if you are homeschooling you will have some type of book or visual aid to help kids compare organs to so it is fine with me they didn't come with a chart
