So with the dark nights drawing in, I wanted to get a good torch as I tend to just use my phone which really isn’t cutting it. Needed something decent when walking the dog and also when we go away in the camper as well.Looked at a number of review sites (could not believe how many YouTube and review sites specifically for torches there was!). One brand that kept coming up was Fenix. Originally I only wanted to spend £60ish and was not really considering paying upwards of £100, but when watching the reviews for the Fenix pd36r pro it looked really impressive.Since Amazon has great returns policy I thought I would give it a try. Could not be happier with it. Firstly its smaller than I expected but really good build quality. Also its really light weight which is great. The brightness for the size of the torch is insane - I use it mainly on setting 4 which is more than enough… on turbo though - wow! There are a ton of videos out there showing this but even after seeing those I was really impressed.Easy to charge, battery LED indicator is a nice touch as well. Yes its expensive, but thats subjective. If you are the sort of person looking at these you are already entertaining the investment cost - all I can say is that I’m really happy with my purchase and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Einschaltknopf und Lichtstärke-Knopf liegen nebeneinander am Lampenende, so dass man die Lichtstärke nach dem Einschalten mit dem Daumen regeln kann, ohne nach dem Einschalten umgreifen zu müssen. Ich finde: Sehr praktisch.In der höchsten Stufe beleuchtet die Lampe (geschätzt, nicht gemessen !) Objekte in ca. mindestens 200m Entfernung. Sie wird dabei jedoch am Kopfende nach einigen Minuten ziemlich heiß.Eine Stufe niedriger ist sie immer noch super hell und wird nur warm (max. praktizierte Leuchtdauer ca.10 -12 Minuten).Ich habe den Eindruck, dass manche Auto-Scheinwerfer schwächer sind... ;-)Trotz des Preises von über 100€ (in 08-2023): Ich würde sie wieder kaufen.

Fantastic flashlight so bright and such good quality, a very nice piece of technology to own the price is high but for me is easily justified only thing that would be nice is for it to be tail stood but can easily light up a room with it facing a wall instead of the ceiling.

Tolles und robustes Teil, auch die Ladeanzeige ist sehr sinnvoll. USB C statt Micro USB ist ebenfalls sehr fortschrittlich und nicht so oft zu sehen bei Taschenlampen.Leider mit 110€ etwas teuer, darum nur 4 Sterne.Aber EINE gute Taschenlampe kann man ja besitzen und die wird ohnehin ewig halten!
