I've always preferred the funny cards to the heartfelt serious ones. There's an amazing array of super-specific, hilariously funny Hallmark Shoe-Box Greetings that can be had for 99 cents and that's usually the route I take - truly a bargain that's hard to beat.However, my father's always been a sentimental old fool. He's getting on in years and, as my appreciation for him has grown, I enjoy choosing cards that let him know how much he means to me. The only thing I really don't like is when they're too wordy. This card strikes just the right balance. The message is relatively short but perfectly mirrors my feelings and, since my father's birthday is on October 26, the gorgeous autumn tableaux could not be more appropriate. Great for any fall birthdays coming up.And it's really lovely, too. The Amazon photo really does not do the cover art justice. The painting of an autumnal forest if soft and soothing. The shield at the top with the words, "Happy Birthday to a Really Great Dad," is raised (as is the small fan-shaped tree in the lower left hand corner) and the font is printed in bronze-y metallic punctuated by three small jewels.This is a gorgeous, tasteful birthday card with a lovely message that is sure to let your Dad know how important he's been in your life.

I love this card! Often I find it challenging to find cards with the sentiment I'm looking for (thanking my dad for being a mentor and a source of great wisdom and advice) so much so that I have accidentally bought the same card more than once. Oops! This one conveys the exact message I'm looking for and I love the autumn landscape imagery. The card looks and feels premium which I appreciate. Would recommend!

This is a very nice card. The card stock is nice and thick and the envelope is a nice quality as well. I like the detailing that went into the card, and that it remains a standard size and weight so that I won’t need to pay extra if mailing. The sentiment of the card is nice as well. Any Father will be happy to get this card.

This hallmark card is simply perfect for a father's birthday that is in the fall. It's sturdy, beautiful colors, not too wordy, and elegant. I like how it's 3 dimensional and multiple layers for a nicer appearance. It's not cheap looking, but a nice touch to add to a father's birthday present. It would make anyone feel special upon receiving this nice card.

The card stock is superior to all of those cheap cards on the market. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality sweet, but not over-emotional card for their father.
