Q: can you secure the doors?

The door lock thing is just ok. I would say it secures it but if a cat was really pushing it could probably get it open. Definitely think about adding something else. Also I strongly recommend getting your own zip ties that are stronger. The small ones that come with are pretty weak. But over all I’m happier than I thought I would be . I also built mine on a 4x4 piece plywood with some peel and stick tiles for easy cleaning, and also so I could secure the cage to a base for extra security.

Q: does this cage have a door to shut.

Yes, there are doors that you can add in. I have one on the bottom to get to the litter box, and a couple up top to add things to the enclosure
