Initially, there was lots of smoke from the upper element and a loud, constant scraping noise from the fan. I opened up the back to find the fan had completely rusted out and was scraping on the metal. I adjusted the fan away from the metal and cooked my meal. Next day, I went to use the microwave function but after 3 minutes, it threw the house fuses and is now inoperable. I bought it because my Hoover microwave with grill started to rust badly on the painted steel interior after just a few weeks. I wanted a stainless steel interior. This microwave has a large stainless interior. It has no turntable so can accept larger items. Grill and convection oven are added benefits. Simple to operate. Has various combination cooking modes (microwave + grill, microwave + convection oven etc), and has a quality feel to it. Even comes with a grill tray and shelf.
