Great addition to the Mario sets
Clear instructions, easy to build and a great expansion to the Mario sets.I found it was quite an easy build compared to some so definitely suitable for younger lego fans.

Fun Extension
This is one of the more expensive extension sets for the series, but you do get a reasonable amount in this set. I think that the Toad figure is great! It is straightforward to construct by following the instructions on the app but takes longer and is fiddlier than some of the other sets. Since the kit includes the Super Mario Cat Peach Suit you would probably want to already have the LEGO 71403 ‘Super Mario Adventures with Peach Starter Course’ so that you have a Peach figure to put in the suit. Altogether that could get expensive. As well as Toad you get a nicely detailed Kamek figure and there are many well thought out little details to this set including a cat Goomba. With the Peach figure there is a fair amount to do and follow the steps to rescue Toad. There are several pieces designed to come off (ice blocks) so risk of these getting separated from the rest of the set. This is a good extension set that will keep children amused both making it and then using it

My Princess Peach best expansion...
The media could not be loaded. LEGO as always brings us more and more fun. This set takes a bit of time to assemble and comes with a LEGO tool. Just follow the Mario lego App instructions. Before using it, pair the Princess Peach, Mario and Luigi with the Mario LEGO app and It will automatically update them to the latest firmware and you'll be able to use all its feature.Once all assembled you can create various level courses, you can mix other LEGO Mario sets to make it even more challenging. We had a lot of fun on this one.Recommended.

Expansion set for the Princess Peach starter kit - pricey
This set is intended for those who already have the Princess Peach starter kit - and this being a themed range from LEGO you are going to have to lean on your credit card to get things off the ground ‘cos things are going to get expensive if you’re a Mario Bros fan!As with other things in this range (and some other modern LEGO ranges) this is not your traditional LEGO for those of us who grew up with the basics. This is something altogether different, but can help provide a creative link between video games and real world physical playtime, helping to prise your young’uns away from the games consoles - something that the modern parent or carer will know all-too-well is not the easiest of tasks to achieve. The instructions are typically done in digital fashion - so quite forward-thinking but maybe not as accessible for the older generation in a supporting role. It’s expensive - there’s no two ways of saying that. But if you keep it in good order then it can potentially get passed-down.

Lego for the 21st century
Having already reviewed the Princess Peach starter kit (which was also provided by Amazon Vine) it now falls upon me to review Peach's Castle- for which you allready need to own Princess Peach. Firstly, the minimum age for this set is billed as 7+, whereas the starter kit was 6+. I'm not entirely sure what it is that requires the earth to orbit the sun one whole extra time, before a child will have emotionally matured sufficiently for this add-on. Possibly, it could be the implied connotations of the cat outfit that is included for Princess Peach. By the way, as I said in my other review- being the chairman of the British Nectarine Society, I was disappointed by the choice of her name. However, in this case I suppose it makes the most sense for her name to imply coverage in a layer of fur (like a peach), rather than something altogether smooth (like a nectarine). I suppose you also get those hairless Canadian Sphinx cats but even I am not a fan of those. In any case, the thought of a Princess dressing up as a cat does seem to edge a little towards the world of "special interest". That might perhaps go some way towards explaining the need for 7 total years of emotional maturity. The other possibility is that it is because the game involves climbing three stories of a castle exterior, unassisted by any form of safety harness. Heaven forbid that a six year old should be influenced by such a bad example! An impressionable seven year old however, should have sufficient physical and emotional maturity to seek suitable footholds.Anyway, the castle both looks very impressive, once built, and makes for some entertaining gameplay. Among other things, you get to defrost a frozen toad before stamping upon its head in return for digital coins. These can presumably be sold on for a profit via a cryptocurrency exchange, although I have yet to verify this. Anyway, every Princess needs a worthy castle and it's great that they also offer Princess Peach the chance to unleash her inner Halle Berry.
