Compression Packing Cubes Set, Suitcase and Backpack Travel Organizer Bags

I ordered these without knowing about that, I would have given this same review regardless of any compensation, so the manufacturer could have saved the gift. 😉 The offer was for a travel shoe bag, and, based on the quality of these compression bags, I was excited to get another quality product from this company. I will be purchasing another order of this product, without compensation. Super impressed with these little gems. I bought them for use with my Eagle Creek 40L Global Traveller backpack. They are incredibly lightweight, and when empty, rolled up, and stored all together, take up just a few flat inches of space. I was impressed with both the ease of compression, very little "squeeze"and pressure needed to compress, and the compression capacity. For example, I can fit three pair of heavy sweatpants in one, in the compression mode, or two large long sleeved thick corduroy overshirts, with a medium stack of undergarments. The small bag can fit two large microfiber absorbent yoga towels (24"x63" ) I can fit four of these larger bags in my Eagle Creek 40L backpack, plus the smaller bag. They are also great for regular travel, since you can unzip them and expand them even more, yet they still remain sleek and compact. The zipper has held, so far, under the squeezing pressure that I have put upon it, when compressing, and I especially love the heavy duty carrying handles. These are exactly what I was hoping that they would be. The only thing that I would like to see different, is the color. I would love to have them come in plain dark black, with black handles. Other than that little "picky" detail ;-), I would absolutely recommend them.

Ordered for a 20 day Kenya/Tanzania trip this May, so haven't used yet. However, already practiced pkg. The large bag fit 9 shirts: 3 Columbia long-sleeved (L/S) shirts w/tabs to roll-up to short-sleeve, plus 2 more L/S, light wt. shirts, 2 short sleeved tops & 2 L/S heavier Fleece shirts & a camisole, so 10 really! I used an Eagle Creek Pack-It Folder for folding all the shirts, then lightly rolled them before placing them in the bag. Less chance to wrinkle & provides more space doing it that way. In the medium bag I rolled up 4 pr of pants (3 pr Columbia hiking pants & 1 pr leggings) & could easily get @ least 2 more pr of pants or maxi dress, etc., but don't need. I'll add a bathing suit & a rain jacket. The small bag I fit 2 bras, 5 pr panties, 3 pr hiking socks, 2 pr Japanese socks, a knit cap & glove liners. Everything else I'll just wear on the plane. This is the latter part of the rainy season, just going into Africa's winter. I really like that the bags & the zippers seem very durable & should be easy to clean. I deliberately overstuffed at first, then packed what I mentioned above (which was less) to see how the zippers would handle. They were fine, even tho I had to fight a bit more to close them. I like the navy color, won't show dirt as much, altho if packing for a family it might be harder to ID who's stuff is who's, but a label would suffice for that or get another color. If they didn't have handles on the top, they might save a bit on wt, but they are convenient. The compression bags came in a reusable zippered plastic bag, which is nice (not another compression bag), which I'll use to put dirty or wet laundry in. I bought the set that includes 1 large, 2 medium & 1 small compression bag, plus a sturdy shoulder strap with ID badge on it & a carry-on TSA approved clear plastic, zippered toilet gear bag. I would definitely recommend it! We're ordering another one for my husband.

These are absolutely a must have for any traveler! I was able to pack for a two week trip with just a carry on suitcase and a backpack because of these packing cubes, so I’ll never have to check a bag again! I used one large, one medium and 2 small packing cubes, and I was able to carry 3 pairs of pants, 4 pairs of shorts, 7 T-Shirts, 2 button down shirts, 1 lightweight hoodie, 5 tank tops, a pair of slides, a swimsuit, and enough underwear and socks for a week, and I still had room in the suitcase for my Dopp kit because of the zippered compression on each packing cube! The zippers are smooth, and once you pack the cube, then you use the compression zipper, which makes it easier to maximize space. Just be careful when using the compression zipper because it looks like the zipper could get stuck in the fabric. This is the only downside to these packing cubes, but honestly, I don’t think it’s a problem if you’re careful. Plus, even though the fabric is really thin and stretchy, it also seems to be very durable, and the seams look to be stitched quite well. The only change I’d like to see would be a way to identify what’s inside the cube once it’s packed without changing the fabric. I think if they were to use different colors for the cubes within the set, or even print each use on the fabric for each cube to make it easier to identify it’s contents without having to constantly open them, then they’d be absolutely perfect. Trust me though, these are definitely worth the investment and you won’t be disappointed.

I can't speak to the durability, and I hope they hold up over time. I bought them for a 3 week trip abroad, and they were a lifesaver to organize my clothing and make space in my bag. I easily fit 4 days of clothes into the larger bag - 2 pairs of pants, 4 shirts, 4 underwear, 2 bras and 4 pairs of socks. I was taking knit pants and knit shirts, women's petite L. Tailored clothing, woven fabrics or larger sizes may not have the same experience. I did notice the seam by the zipper strained a bit when the bag was really full of just pants, but the stitching held. Hopefully it will hold up over time. After returning home, I have to say I would have had a much more difficult time managing my clothing without these compression bags. I love them and will use them every time I travel, even if it's just a short trip. They are easy to use and lightweight and a great value.

Compression works good. I prefer the vertical Format and the handles make these very portable and easy to pull out of luggage. Color is on spot and size options are great.

Repeat purchase. This brand is by far the best we've tried when it comes to packing cubes. Sturdy, lightweight. Would love for Suited Nomad to bring back the option of buying 3 L or 3 XL cubes instead of just the full set.

Love it!! Really helped to compress the clothes and did not wrinkle my clothes either. For the first time I was able to pack stuff into my small carryon and tote bag with the compression cubes. Usually I have to take my large suitcase with regular packing cubes Love the navy blue color!

These compression packing cubes are a great deal. I've ordered the Eagle Creek version and have them here to compare and these are less costly and are identical and come with a third extra cube (large) + a clear toiletries bag that appears to be TSA approved, a matching luggage reinforcement strap, and a matching laundry bag. I think it's a good deal and I love the color of these. I have not yet traveled with them but they appear to be durable, the zippers of good quality, and appear to be made by the same manufacturer as the Eagle Creek cubes. I like that the zipper goes around most of the way but not all, because when opening it, items are more secured and less likely to fall out. The other great thing about these is how thin the material is. You might think, "cheaply made" but NO! Thin fabric weighs less, takes up less room in your luggage and it is IDEAL. Weight and thickness in the suitcase are undesirable. These look like they are going to make my travel life far easier by making my case organized and the compression will allow me to fit far more inside my luggage. I far prefer compression cubes because you can make more fit into your suitcase and have room to spare OR leave them uncompressed for a looser fit. You have a choice with compression cubes. I would buy these again.

Ich habe mir den 6er Pack in blau für einen Zentralafrikaexpedition gekauft. Das Ziel war es den Inhalt meines 70 Liter Rucksackes so zu organisieren, dass ich die unterschiedliche Kleidungsarten von einander getrennt aufbewahre und so schneller an das Gesuchte zu kommen. Ich bin mit den Produkten sehr zufrieden. Die Zippverschlüsse halten sehr gut, solange man nicht zu viel in den Pack stopft und dann zu komprimieren versucht. Man muss sich da an die Grenzen des Machbaren herantasten. Wollte ich zu viel Zeug von einer Sorte in den Cube packen, habe ich einfach auf die Kompression verzichtet. Den Klarsichtbeutel habe ich als Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeit für Kleinzeug während der Tagestrips genutzt. Nach der Reise habe ich die Cube im Wäschenetz in der Waschmaschine gewaschen. Das haben sie m.E. gut überstanden. Ich werde mir auf jeden Fall weitere Produkte bestellen. Das einzige Manko ist, dass man die gewünschten Größen nicht selbst zusammenstellen kann, sondern auf die im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Cubegrößen angewiesen ist. Vielleicht kann dieser Kommentar diesbezüglich als Anregung dienen.

Excellent for traveling with carry on. I have been using them for a while and they're still in great condition.
