Having to rate thickness and sheerness in this review was odd. It is thin plastic but has been fine. Making it lighter works for me. I have taken this around a fair bit and it has not broken. Admittedly i have not carried it up a mountain yet, but think it would do fine, especially with the weight.Does it keep things fresh? Yes! I keep coffee in it and it keeps it fresh and in the dark. Every open is a veritable waft of great smelling coffee. Also acts as a vent if there is a CO2 build up from the beans I am told, but have not devised a fiendishly brilliant way to validate (yet)

Use this for ginger, garlic and fresh herbs to stop oxidisation and keep them longer. Good tubs and don't let out any odour. Cupboards don't smell like garlic.

They’re good but i ordered the black pearl one but got the one with a blue top,not good plus i already removed the seal so couldn’t return it. Need to do better when sending them out.

Works but didn't last, it does a pretty good job of keeping the smell in to start with however after a couple of months of use you start to get random wiffs and the plastic between the lid and the jar wears very quickly. After three months it became very difficult to get the lid on and off and eventually snapped.

I like this container. Its light, the plastic doesn't feel overly solid but not fragile so whereas I would not bash it about overmuch its perfectly solid for what it is intended. In use, you do hear the air being expelled when you add the top and you can't remove the lid without pressing the valve . I use it for freshly ground coffee and its seems ok. I haven't stored items for long in this model but I do use a bigger size for unground beans (months). I would willingly buy one of this family of jars again

Smooth plastic on smooth plastic with no mechanical seal that's the first thing second thing no way in hell will that container hold anymore than 1 once if we are taking about the same thing...You would be lucky to get an once of the stem, if you'd grind it up sure but what mad person would do that with the precious herb wink wink.In my opinion waste of money for what it is

One of the best purchases I've made on Amazon in a while. I didn't realise how much I actually need one of these till I saw it. And when I got it, life was just a little bit easy. Not the big but definitely big enough to store the essentials with room to spare. And it also is true to it word with the air lock, work like a charm. I'm just annoyed as I've recently broken mine (idiot) but I'm definitely getting another one before or for Xmas. Thank you !

This Vacuum Sealed container works extremely well, and frankly, keeping the “ remnants” of my stash sealed and fresh is important to me! The container is small enough to keep in any cabinet or draw within my home AND large enough to hold my personal stash, not to mention being appealing to the eye!

This works great to create airtight seal. Genius design. May order more in different styles. It is more than I wanted to pay for tea storage, but an example of getting what you pay for in my opinion

Vedação muito boa, praticamente impossível abrir a tampa sem pressionar o botão, já tive outros de marcas genericas que não chegam nem perto da vedação. vale o investimento.
