I've since upgraded to a pass-through variety of connectors and tool since I can't see as well as I used to and my patience for building cable isn't quite as long as I'd expected it to be (my own fault).If you can see and you have patience to fan out your wires and get them where they belong in the connectors, you'll do just fine with this tool.Basically does all it needs to do, between crimping, cutting, stripping and cinching.Handy to have this option and a bulk of cable since you always need an ethernet cable NOW instead of a day from now when you can pick one up or have it delivered.Good universal tool to keep in the toolbox, especially as we're running more and more applications over CAT cable.Four stars - does the job, not a lot of fuss.

The skit came in a nice storage box, but I am not a huge fan of plastic box and hinge/clip, because they eventually break after using it for a while. The crimp is similar to one I have had previously, but that one seemed more heavy duty. I was a little confused by the safety on this. Aside from that, the clear assortments is just a bonus, I like the small tool that helps with other cuts or stripping. I wish it came with a manual, since it's been a while since I have done these from scratch. Lastly, the testing tool is nice, but I wish it was one of those that beeps so I can test out whether hardwire networking is working or not across rooms.

I love JimiHome products. I have at least half a dozen of their kits. They put a LOT of thought into the what the end user will want, particularly storage. Storage of kit type products are usually an afterthought. Not with JimiHome. Storage seems to be every bit as important as the tools themselves. This is no exception. This kit is *almost* everything you need for the occasional RJ repair. It makes sense to keep one of these around. Repair a few cables and the kit is paid for.It's a solid tool, includes a tester and a jacket stripper. They also include 20 connectors. The only fail in my opinion is not including the anti-snag accessories for the connectors on a premium kit like this. Even the cheaper kits include these.I'm not a fan of blow molded cases for tools. They usually get tossed because they are ridiculously oversized, but this is an exception. It is truly just big enough for the kit and has a good, thick wall and solid feel. No complaints this time.All in all, worthy of consideration if aesthetics are important to you.

This is a great addition to my network tools. The crimmer is of great quality and has a nice cutter on it. It comes with ends for cables and also a nice straight edge cutter. The tester is a nice addition but it not the best tester I have used.

The tool set is great for testing out and network connection around the house. The tool it self is good quality, Tester works well, and I tested it on my home network. I do have a concern, when I pushed in the lock button it's hard for it to release later on. I ended up not using the lock button at all.

I’m a low voltage electrician and use rj45 crimp tools alot. I do not use this at work but have it as an around the house crimper. Tested the crimper and tester by making a jumper and it did a great job. The crimper is very nice with tight tolerate, the tester is decent and the included rj45 mod plugs are good. The only thing that isn’t great is the case. It works great right now but these types of cases always fail after repeated use.Didn’t try the stripper since I’m a professional and use my snips to strip cable so can’t comment on that but it looks like it would work as intended.

I needed to test some network cables for connectivity and this device turned out great. I already had a cable crimper but I think this will be a nice backup. The network tester does not include batteries. It all comes in a case which seems durable and helpful for keeping your tools organized and clean.
