They work on these flimsy walls
I have used these before but larger size to fit a TV on the wall. These smaller ones were to hold a mirror which was heavy and they do work

Good innovation, but let down by single poor design, requires re-design for more robust design.
Poorly designed, when screwdriver is inserted to be turned, often the small plastic tags break off and you cannot tell if the the cam ears engage behind the plasterboard. It should also state the size required as it is not obvious, too large and it will not rotate. As an engineer, I tried a dry run before being inserted in the plasterboard, and then it all works. However, the hole made in the plasterboard is never clean and therefore plasterboard that has been folded back offers a slight resistance to the rotating ear cams. This additional resistance means the plastic tags either break off or deforms when turned, and you cannot determine if the cams have fully engaged behind the plasterboard with enough rotation.Design could benefit from a tell tale that the cams have deployed and engaged. As an ex engineer from F1 this is a good example of design, but really could be significantly improved with some further thought.

Brilliant plasterboard fixings
These fixings are brilliant for securing items to plasterboard. Easy to use and strong when installed correctly. These are my go to fixings for plasterboard. Come in different sizes/colours to take a wide range of weight.

Maybe its me
Found not as easy to use as the adverts tell you. Some were quite stiff and difficult to open so the plasic flanges either bent or didnt move at all. So i added a bit of lubrication to get them moving. When screwing into them i fount that some times the whole unit spun and caused the hole to become bigger. Further stopping the ggipits from working.

great
i have never done anything like this before but was very easy to use and worked very well. I borrowed a colleague's drill and the biggest bit he had was 12inches so had to wiggle it in the wall to make it big enough for this and then tapped it in. It has worked well and seems very solid. The paintings are all still on the wall.

Great fittings that work well
A convert to these types of fittings. Easy to install and very secure. Have used all size/weight variations of these fixings to max load and very impressed. Used easily for mounting anything from blinds to large TVs. Recommend.

Ok. Need the special drill bit
Bit fiddly to fit and worked ok but only used to hang a curtain rail

Expensive and Very Disappointing fixings
Very disappointed with these - arrived early so proceeded with the job. Drilled and located the first fixing but when I went to open up the lugs at the back using a suitable flat screwdriver the yellow part of the fixing disappeared into the cavity never to be seen again!!! Looking closely at these I decided to abandon using these as I didn’t fancy the thought of more 15mm diameter holes in my wall!!
